so if jw's all asked for loans from the org, every now and then, it would be the orgs responsibility to grant those loans (interest free).

Luo - For what it's worth, "Jehovah" is not God.. Yahweh is God, and he is not the God that is taught about in the Kingdom Hall, he will save every single person in China.

Good Story talesin.. I guess that Elder didn't know Matthew 6:33 " Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need."

All of these churches including the WT now supports "tithing" or some form of donations, what they neglect to support, is the fact that tithing is intended for all members of the congregation that are ever in need..

Acts 2:45 " And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need."

my family and i are planning a trip to a nice vacation area close to where my (active jw) parents and sister and brother in law live.

my family and i are not df'd, da'd or anything else- we just executed a successful fade and havent looked back.

sooo- i've expressed my interest in spending some time with them on vacation (why not- right??).

if jehovah's witnesses are taught the "truth" that people are afraid of men with beards, wouldn't sending them the vibe that clean shaven men are creepy, as indeed they are in some localities on some faces be the best favor you could do them.

imagine if every trinitarian christian told them the same thing instead of engaging in a conversation with them.

in the part of california where i live them telling me that beards are threatening to some people is like those hipsters who attend the "no pants subway ride" on the subway in the middle of winter and then say that it just felt too warm today to be wearing pants.

Reasons for staying In?

i have spoken to %90 of mymfriends & family.. and i have found that there are 3 basic reasons why people stay.. .

1. god has always had an organization.

the organization has never been perfect, but he has always had one.. 2. i know a lot of things are wrong, bit where else can i go?

I have spoken to %90 of mymFriends & Family.. And I have found that there are 3 basic reasons why people stay.

1. God has always had an Organization. The organization has never been perfect, but he has always had one.

2. I know a lot of things are wrong, bit where else can I go? They teach more truth than anyone else.

3. The Organization is a Protection, you can't leave it.

No one has made an effort,to defend their faith using the Bible.

What are other reasons people stay in? (Other than fear of ostrisicm?)

No.. It's because I was sinning while I Was DF'd, but when I had my reinstatement hearing, I told them that I hD stopped sinning whlie Imwas DF'd.

Once I was reinstated, some details about my actions while DF'd got to the elders, and they DF'd me again.. I guess it was an invalid reinstatement.. Ha.

its all a Joke.. I guess now looking back at it.. I sub conscienssyessly understood that Lieng to a group of pretend judges about my life style, was better than continuing an immoral life..

I knew that if I had support of friends and family, it would be easier to stay moral.

Simplicity & Love

we all get so worked up over details,knowledge,status,possessions,conflict,gossip,jealosy... simplicity & love are the 2 things that society trys so hard to diminish and reject.. but if more of us would just live our lives focusing on simplicity & love, we would see happiness.. jesus rejected material possesions,fame,wealth - he chose to live a simple life, which allowed him to love fully.. how can we live simple lives, and love more?.

We can live simple lives, but we choose not to.. Complex brains are great, if we use them to focus on Life & Love, instead of Money & Posessions, and Reputation.

I agree with what you say, we have to use our Brains & Abilities to serve others and create happiness within our selves.
