  Garth Brooks,

  Luis Gonzales, I actually have two 8x10's of Luis hugging my son, and giving him an autograph. Our neighbor came over one day and said he was going to be in this movie that was filming at the park right down the street from us, it was about baseball, and told hubby to bring my son to meet Gonzo. He was a very nice gracious down to earth person.

  So was Garth, btw. He was here for spring training when he was playing b-ball. He stood out in the hot sun, and signed autographs for hours, until the very last fan had his autograph.

  i just joined here so i'm not completely familiar with the forum code.

  well, i'm going to be baptized in less than a month and i was wondering if i can find any friends among my peers or anyone around my age.

  you see, my congregation was split up almost three years ago.

  Welcome Sweetie! I am sorry you are going through a hard time, hang in there hon. I sure remember the times I was a young jw, and thought I had no friends, this is really hard. About baptism, there are future consequences to this decision, that you just can't imagine right now. Why dont you wait a few more years, there's no rush. Is there a teacher, or an adult that you can talk to about this decision? Also, you are very young, so please remember not to give out too much information, especially your name, stuff like that, out about yourself on this public boards ok. Welcome.

  What's your view on my "Being the Brother" issue that came up today?

  i'm in field service today and i'm not even the guy that took the group out, as a matter of fact, i show up late today as usual.

  well anyway, i'm assigned to be on another street with my mother and some other witnesses.

  at this point i'm the only brother because the other guy hasn't shown up yet.

  You are actually more of a man, for being flexible. In the real world, you have would appeared arrogant or stubborn, if you were to insist on doing it one way, when someone had already started doing it another. Yes, these sisters are bossy and anal and need to get a life.
