  i thought i would start a weekly column of wts inanity, inanity serious enough to have affected peoples perceptions and negatively changed their lives.. .

  one famous wts myth that i have heard uttered more times a minimus question is that ?women feel while men think?, did you ever wonder where the wts dug that thought up from?

  apparently from an unamed woman psychologist and the famous department of ?many authorities?

  Simon when you finally make it to Canada we'll organize an apostate wagon train.

  I've driven across Canada twice and the US once. The beauty of the coasts are similar but I was blown away by Montana and Wyoming in the U.S, fantastic!

  Even at 80 mph!

  How has your marriage been affected by leaving the WTS?

  it's been exactly 2 years since i stopped attending jw meetings and it's taken a toll on my marriage.

  i expected as much but i guess you can never really prepare for the pain you have to go through when one mate no longer believes in the same things they once did.

  i think my wife has honestly tried hard (as have i) to make the relationship work but i think we're both realizing that there are some really large issues before us that will never be resolved.

  in the july wt, the writers have come up with the new theory that islam is the new king of the north.

  Did the millenium turning and 9/11 make you think about armageddon?

  i was thinking back the other day to new years eve 1999. it was a few hours before midnight.

  i was in the virgin islands drinking with my girlfriend and some friends and i started to freak out.

  i started thinking that maybe christ would return that night, maybe armageddon would come and the earth would be turned inside out and i would die that very night.

  The first Gulf War at the time made me think about the big A, by the time the millenium and then 9/11 came along I no longer took the WT that serious.

  Unless you count that house I built for Abraham, Isaac and Samson to live in. That GD Samson is a hard man to please with his precious dreadlocks with little bows in them. Don't pick at his hair though, guy goes nuts, tore the whole friggin house apart and spent 3 days on ebay trying to find the jawbone of an ass.

  Then the freak of nature tied my cats tails together and tried lighting their asses on fire with a 100 watt light bulb which he figured must be fire.

  What's up with that!

  i bought cj a unique alarm clock for mother's day.

  it is made by grundig, and has some real cool features.

  first of all it is self setting, ( works on fm radio broadcasts ) so if you lose power, it will reset itself, plus it adjusts automatically for daylight savings time.
