I just went to the website. They have chapters, but the chapters are no longer divided into verses. Very strange. So if you read Matthew 24, you cannot determine where verse 14 begins, becaus verses are no longer listed.

JW.org to be regarded as fulfillment of the signs of the last days.
by jwfacts ini struggled as a jw to accept that the good news of the kingdom was ever going to be preached in all the inhabited world by jws, as there were many parts of the world with few to no jws.
there are not enough to cover the 3 billion plus people in asia to allow everyone to get a chance to hear the message.
it also was offensive to me that jehovah would kill those billions that had never had a chance to accept the watchtower message.

I had the opportunity to use this special campaign month to share jwfacts.com with my grandmother. Now she will be better equipped to handle discussions with my parents. She has zero interest in reading the propaganda at JW.org and neither do most people.

Welcome. I'm in ohio also. its really none of their business why you don't want to go to meetings. If you tell them about COC be prepared for them to shun. Maybe you can say that there are some things you're not sure about, and you need some time to see How things work out.

The cyclist death is a tragedy. How ironic would it be if they disfellowshipped a guy who was returning from a theocratic activity. He would probably conclude that it was better if he had not went. I'm sure that what his family is wishing.

Any Educated Guesses...........??

he is a third generation witness and comes from a prominent family in his circuit.
his uncle stepped down as an elder because he had doubts and could not serve anymore (although for now he remains a witness in good standing).

Members of the writing department has resigned
by hardtobeme inthis is what i found at anointedjw.org.
i don't know if it's true.
on august 25, 2014, we received the following comment and inquiry: .

Even though they may be whack jobs and embellished the story, I don't believe they're lying about the resignations. i doubt the governing body is losing any sleep though. Some people speculate that the November 15 questions for readers about the 2 witnesses is a backhanded dig at the creators of the site, who use that as their psuedonym.

“This is an organization that has an apocalyptic end-of-days strategic vision that will eventually have to be defeated,” General Martin E. Dempsey, U.S. chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said on Thursday.
He sounds like he's talking about JWs. But he's actually referring to ISIS. Anyhow, an apocalyptic world view is unhealthy for members of any organization. ISIS is fanatical, thus they are exceptionally dangerous. Thankfully, a large percentage of JWs don't take the apocalyptic message seriously. But the ones who do cause tremendous damage.
One thing I find interesting is that those with apocalyptic world views often tout their high morals while missing out on the most important thing, love. ISIS and other fundamentalist groups kill those who don't live up to their moral views. JWs harshly disfellowship, kill spiritually and emotionally. If JWs were told to stone wrongdoers there's no doubt that many would. Though Jehovah killed many people in the Bible for what seems like trivial stuff, Jesus never killed a single person, even for far worse crimes. apocalyptic cults appear to forget that and instead believe everyone should be killed or punished for their sins.

He is being extended as a 3-year temporary worker, even though he's already been there nearly 3 years already! This is strange. Why has he not recieved a permanent invitation! As we all know the massive building projects currently going on are scheduled to be completed in 2017. Makes me wonder what's next. At the very least it shows that the GB have no expectation of the end coming soon. They are determined to complete their project, then possibly send many of their free labors home to fend for themselves. Very suspicious.

How the organization's bad advice messes up young people
by kneehighmiah inso recently a governing body helper gave a part on the convention.
he said young ones who are saying and not financially ready should knock it off.
what conflicting advice.

So recently a governing body helper gave a part on the convention. He said young ones who are saying and not financially ready should knock it off. What conflicting advice. You discipline young people for having sex before marriage. So they try to get married. Then you tell them don't persue marriage until you're financially ready. So they try to get financially stable. Then you tell them not to go to college. Seriously? So messed up. So glad my parents didn't drink the Kool-aid and let me attend college. Studies show that people with better education and money have lower divorce rates. But the watchtower will never acknowledge that. They won't even acknowledge that the divorce rate in the organization is the same as the "world." Awful advice.
