I was in church yesterday and I was praying that we could move. My hubs is desperate to move back to where he grew up and where I was living also, when we met. I love it there too.

Anyway, he applied for a lecturer's job at a college last week. He had a phone call today inviting him for an interview.

I'm kind of in shock. When we left 10 years ago, I was so upset after. I have wanted to move back ever since.

This coincides with my hubby meeting up with his family (Dad's side) after 20 years. They were estranged due to his mother. Another story.

I am so excited.

I am so grateful that "someone" up there heard our prayers.

Views on women priests.

hence, the absence in rc churches.. my mother is a jw.

My mother is a JW. I have argued with her that the JW religion is mysogonist (hope the spelling is right). Why can't a female make a good elder or MS? She could be a good study conductor and even deliver talks. Also, some women feel more comfortable talking to other female re; spiritual, family and personal matters. I know I do, anyway.

I don't expect to convert either person and nor would I wish to. I enjoy a Catholic Mass but prefer the C of E progessions. My hubs has come to my church and will support me. He's happy to attend social events and I am the same with his church. It's actually quite liberating.

I was furious about that label "mentally diseased", it was pretty detrimental to people who suffer with mental health problems, depression etc...

Trust the 'effing WT to recant that expression to cover their sorry arses.

The word "obsessive" is still patronising people who have a questioning mind, however.

in the first couple of chapters we have various animal,fowl and grain offerings.

then their were sin offerings to be made , for the laity and the preists.. specific sins and their offerings ,unintentional sins , guilt , burnt offerings ,grain offerings .geeez what kind of god is this?.

then we have clean and unclean animals ( i thought all of his creation was perfect ?

Hi Jon.I totally understand your feelings on "living a lie".That is why I da'd.I had to get a clean break.We are all different.you do what is right for you and your family.
