she has been a witness for over 60 years, but for the last 15 years or so she's been one of those that listens in on the phone and had depression issues and couldn't make it out in service much, you know the type.

what to do when you have a crazy friend?
by losingit init's hard for me to start this topic bc i feel like i'm being judgmental, a quality i don't like in others and one i try to stay away from as much as possible.
i really do try to be an understanding, caring person.
i essentially believe that all people are good and i am shocked to my core when i am betrayed.

Seriously, she sounds unstable. I mean clinically so. She needs psychiatric help and soon before she does something stupid, like abducting the baby.
Has she any family or other friends you could talk to about her behaviour?? Do you know her doctor, maybe?
She is on a bad road, don't let her go any further down it.

Are we all actually "bad / evil / immoral" after leaving the faith?
by stuckinarut2 inso recently there have been several posts with references to talks and articles that imply the following:.
most of those who learn ttatt or fade from the "truth", are actually practicers of bad things, eg immorality, hence that is why 'we' now find fault with the org?.
i find this so offensive that they imply such.

Hi Guys, I'm new here...
by Mikado inbeen lurking for years, but couldn't log on.
for some reason, my email spam filter is inaccessable, and ended up having to open another account, simply to become a member... wonder how many others have had a similar problem.. its been an eye opener reading everyones life experiences, often so similar.. i was almost a born in, with a hardcore family.
abusive stepfather who was one of the original jws in the area, so much so, that it was called the xxxxx family religion.... been out for 25 years, am glad every day for that!!.

I know the feeling about having that reaction when seeing the witnesses. It just gets you like that sometimes. Keep talking, you obviously need to get some things off your chest. Counselling will help, if it's interfering with your life.
Were you sad about your stepfather dying? Did you wish you'd told him about how angry you were etc....

Netherlands Union Conference support gay members in defiance of world church
by barry ini'm not gay but i do support gay people against hard line christians that forget the principles our lord demonstrated when he lived among us.
jesus had compassion for the outcasts women and tax collectors outside of society of that day.
i find it hard to accept gay people haveing relationships and sexual relations but i find it even more devient of me not to show christian love and acceptance of these people.. i am encouraged by the response of the netherlands union conference of sdas and as you know the sdas are like a sister church to the jw religion and is just as conservative.. the world sda church has adopted guidlines for the response to alternative sexual practices.

1) if you are a married, baptized witness couple (both people being baptized) and armageddon arrives, will the couple still be married on paradise earthtm?
2) if you are married to an unbelieving mate (ubm) and armageddon arrives, will the witness be free to remarry on paradise earth?.
