Dude! She's your X! Things like this can be toxic and harmful to you.
You really gotta ditch her and move on IMHO. There is no way a call like that should last longer than 30 seconds!

nwt scriptures: john 20:28-29 .
28 in answer thomas said to him: my lord and my god!
29 jesus said to him: because you have seen me have you believed?
I find that the only way to loosen the grip of the WT overbearing control on people is to those peopls that the WT isn't always corrent in its "scholarship and motive". That then opens the door for people to feel okay about thinking for themselves.
AO
AO:
Not easily done as this thread proves. The WT has some powerful voodoo!

Hmmm!
Well trained in the Jedi er Dub arts of misdirection I see.
I'll end this with simply, people will believe what they want to believe no matter what.

Heathen:
I take it then that you are passing on the John 2:19 problem.
Fair enough. I am not promoting one view or the other, just casting a light on flaws in both arguments. In the end it is not important who did what. IMHO

i used to enjoy do paul illingsworth's talks.
he thought he was a greek scholar.. anyone that you liked (or didn't)?.
I was a kid: Brother Rosem
Mary:
I remember him too. Eugene was his name. Never had him as a CO though. In fact I don't really remember CO visits before 1975. Not that we didn't have them, I just don't remember. I was born in '62.
The first one I recall was ? (Br) Vincent. He was animated and dynamic. There was an old TV actor that reminded me of him or or vice versa, but I can't remember his name.
One day after I meet you in person, I would love to meet your sister to compare notes on this gigantic A-hole of a man.

He was probably comped on many vacations. People in my congo were always handing him stuffed envelopes. And I know a brother that loved giving him technology gifts
That is how you got assigned parts on the assembly or in the dramas. "Holy Spirit at work brothers!"

Had lots of friends who were CO's. Jack Danly was a fire and brimstoner from West Virginia. Had to love that accent. He was really a pussy cat in person. Died 3 or 4 years back.
There was nice couple in the circuit work, Hartmut and Claudia Kutchki. They were German, and he spoke with a thick bavarian accent I would say. Was fun to see Germans go up to them and start talking in German, and he would say, "You know vee aire in Kanada now and vee speak English here, yeah?" Very kind and loving. We tried looking them up later and have no idea what happened to them. Hope they figured it out and left!
Dick and Gay Toes, very nice couple. A Frenchman DO named Crepo (Craypoe) who was nice as well. Elders and CO's hated him.
There was also a couple in the Italian circuit who also served the Spanish at times. Barboro or Bavaro. We went out to dinner a couple of times and he was down to earth, as well as his wife and they were both free thinkers.
Things were different in the language groups of the dubs. There was always a threat of being dissolved or combined with another same language group if the numbers dwindled too much. As a result the dynamic at times was very tolerant. Then the society started moving English tyrants in to make changes. You could get away with just about anything in Spanish, Portuguese, Greek and Italian congregations and groups!
Assholes?
Dave Gannon, Lawrence Thompson, Gary Willachuck, Jack Zwicker (the ass kicker, publisher asses of course). Dave Gannon was an outright wicked and evil man. Anyone who has crossed swords with him knows what I mean. If there was ever two people who could suck the joy and life out of a congregation or circuit it was Gannon and Zwicker. Willachuck was just a two faced prick. Thompson was a nice enough guy but fancied himself a medler in peoples affairs and so screwed lots of things up.

OK Cigar stinkers!
I just got back the other day and have had a chance to puff on a Trinidad Colonial. It is a strong edition of the Cuban style, not too acidic on the throat, good draw and not an overwhelming amount of smoke.
It seems I will need to wait for the Trinidad maduro. The Cubans have been slow to react to the maduro trend, but they have produced some nicely aged special editions. A few I purchased for later are Cohiba LE Sublime (good and fat) 2004 edicion limitada, Bolivar Royal Coronas and Partagas Serie D No 4.
The dealer I met had a 3 pack sampler of the Trinidad maduros soon to hit the market. No matter how much I begged he would not part with any of them.
Here is a review that matched my experience with the Coloniales:
Review #43:From presentation to construction, this cigar is pure class. The moment you light up you know that you're in for a treat. If you like chocolate and vanilla with a tinge of spice, this cigar will deliver in spades. Smooth, consistent with perfect burn. Drink something light, don't rush your draw and you'll enjoy its subtle flavors. - Submitted by
I definitely got the chocolate, no vanilla but more a creamy mocha flavor. The smell of the tobacco before lighting up was almost minty, wrapper felt great to the touch too. That is the art of storing them well at the cigar shop and then when you bring it home unless you smoke right away.
Toward the end my mouth was filled with the taste of nuts, walnut predominantly but there was just a nice nutty taste to the experience. Combined it was like Nuttella. At times there was a honey like sweetness to the smoke which gave an overall taste of a Tobleron bar. Burn was nice although I got talking and it went out on me a couple of times. The lesson? Shut up and enjoy the moment which can last a good 45-50 minutes! In the air the dispersed odor was a spice fragrance that was pleasing to those with me at the time. I am going to let the rest age which should bring about an even better melding of these flavors.
Enjoy!

i didn't bother to answer.
it's probably because i told my ex last week that i will personally sue the individual elders if they meet with my daughter again to counsel her without my parental consent.
we have joint custody and that means they need joint parental consent to counsel a minor.. i am filing for sole custody of our 12 year old daughter and will be serving him with the legal paperwork next week.
in my quest to find out the truth would you tell me where i can find a copy of this school brochure, thanks
Munkafats:
You could just ask that Witness couple who is "studying" with you for the brochure. Couldn't you?
