  How much is the Watchtower worth?

  hi, am relatively new on here, so haven`t seen any postings about how much the society is worth, but would really be interested to know.

  what i can`t understand is what they are doing stockpiling money, when they could give some to the poor bro`s in africa etc.

  give to poor pioneers, and hard up ones in congregations.

  How can someone who doesn't know the language..translate a book?

  i see people all the time trying to interpert the scriptures for other people who don't understand it.

  my question is:.

  a simple word like "fire" or "burned" in the bible.

  The reason for them amassing so much wealth as did the Catholic Church for years is - they want to fulfill the Scriptures by throwing their gold and silver in the streets at the end, and plead to the mountains, "fall over us." And a big voice will thunder, "scrooge bastards; eat crap, and die!"

  new build

  heard that the congregation has been informed of a prospective new build that they hopefully will be completed by 2007 memorial.

  well guess what the congregations have been invited to pay for it themselves, they want a double kingdumb hall with two apartments, guee i wonder who will get to live there?

  because of building in foreign countries, the local congregations have been asked to pay for it themselves, then of course mother will take over the deed.

  Maybe the apartments are for Annanias and Sapphira, they decided to split up and live apart. I remember one hall I was at, big monthly payment, depressed work situations, and the CO and DO came down on the "flock" for not upholding "their responsibilities." We didn't count the cost, so we were "unfaithful." The hall was sold for a church. What hypocritical pieces of garbage. May Brooklyn fall in 1 hour - how about NOW?

  i spoke with a "loyal" person with strong connections to the katrina rebuilding oversight.

  they claimed that.

  the society has spent well over 100 million bucks on rebuilding.

  if asked: would you marry a prostitute most people would say no, but if asked would you marry a prostitute's daughter that doesn't like this game and has never been in it, would you do it, to have a prostitute as a mother in law and grand mother of your children?

  Yes. 1 of my wives was a prostitute, she went back to it. One of my other wives became an unpaid prostitute. Who am I to judge?

  i was eating with a catholic friend who made a little joke about how "your church doesn't pass the plate".. well, not yet, anyway.

  i'm sure that fact is a real dilemma for the society, given their seemingly endless spiral of cutbacks in recent.

  No coins for Watchtower coffers! No different than Luther vs. The Catholic Church. Maybe they'll resurrect the Haggai and Zechariah book so they can focus on Witnesses building up their houses while "God's House" is in shambles. Who made it that way? The G.B. will bleed the flock until they all scatter on many hills. That will be a good day!
