I was on the gravel Friday night, hands and feet crawling. I had 2 more issues of KN #37 and I'd be damned if I wasn't going to circulate life saving news. I got to the householder's door, but they stole my Cuervo bottle, and threatened to call the cops. But I did get them to take the tract. The 2nd house called the cops; the cops seeing and hearing loudly that Jose was absconded, told me to get up on my feet and leave promptly. One of the cops took the last tract and balled it up, then threw it to the wind. So much for night witnessing on one's hands and feet.

i was brought up as a j/w and my mum stopped going when i was a teenager.
i tried to get back into it as an adult but spent more time in the bible studies arguing, so i kind of realised after a few years it was going nowhere.. spent years just studying on my own cos i couldnt find a christian organisation i felt i agreed with and stayed clear of church cos of so called.

Sneak Peek at the Revised "New World Translation"!!!

what kind of chance do you think you have with god?...meaning that if the 'meekest man' on earth pissed god off, (and i still don't really know why) so that god punished him with death before they entered the 'promised land', something that moses waited over 40 years for, what chance do you think you have?.
i mean think of it....here's moses living his whole life around god (closer than anyone today) and god punished him...(btw...who can tell me what horrible crime he did anyway?).

Kingdom News No. 37 - What Absolutely Disgusting Hypocrisy!
by Amazing inmy first reaction to this little tract is that it is the same thing we left at the doors in the 1970s during blitz campaigns just before armageddon in 1975. yes, we were told that the end of false religion was extremely close, and that we were stepping up our preaching activity which we expected to bring on a major round of persecution.
we were engaged in the final notification work of condemning false religion so that the few remaining sheep might get out of babylon the great just before the great tribulation was to start.. fast forward over 30 years: the jws are still blitzing the neighborhood with kingdom news tracts saying that the end of false religion is near.
what a sad and cruel joke!

by parakeet inin another thread truthseeker revealed that the wts is quietly gathering and burning as many of the old russell and rutherford books and magazines it can get its hands on in order to hide the hill of bones on which its present-day existence was built.
in addition to this effort to hide its sordid past, the wts also warns its followers to immediately dismiss apostate evidence derived from the internet.
i remember thirdwitness challenging posters to "produce" the letter that proved the wts was in cahoots with the u.n. it's so very convenient for jws to ignore "virtual" information because it's difficult to substantiate with original sources.

Who would you recommend as librarian/curator? I think these items should be made available to all. Search engines could be influenced to direct folks to the electronic library and memorabilia. Thoughts...

i just read that the "first few months of 2007 will be an exciting time" what with all the investigations into lawlessness on the behalf of the prez and his cronies... .

Great news! That's where we record our music, in Conyers, sometimes -- Dogwood Studios. I'll have to visit the Hall - seeing that I am a born spiller. Man, that purple Jesus (grape hi-c and moonshine) shouldn't have been dropped, oh darn, imagine mustard squirting from the sandwich I wasn't supposed to be eating, and the pomegranate just got squished. White washed graves -- all pretty on the outside, and full of rotten crud inside to the core. I'll bring a few deranged musicians with me for a purple Jesus outing. I'm willing to share with the breathren - hey brother caretaker, what did I say to make you mad this time babe? How about a tract?

What was the reason why you were never made an elder or Ministerial Servant
by twinkletoes inthe reason i heard constantly by the elders, as to ones spiritual progress in the organisation was, .
"brothers are appointed by holy spirit.".
if this is the case, why is god speaking to himself when he says in 1 tim 3 v 6 .not a newly converted man, for fear that he might get puffed up with prideetc.. to re-iterate if god appoints elders, why would he give himself this advice ???.

I was a MS for a few years and then was recommended for elder (whispered in my ears by great secret keepers). At the same time I found fault with the BOE and Brooklyn brought in the big guns (COs and DOs) and began committee hearings. About the same time, I read '30 years Watchtower Slave' and read the Bible cover to cover a few times, as well as Russell's and Rutherford's books. My climb up the ladder ended with my final public talk. It was characterized as "bombastic" and bordering on "apostate". Go figure!
