i don't post much but take a avid interest in peoples views etc.
after over 15 years of da'ing myself, i only reached these sites a few weeks ago, and since have engorged myself on the info about the org and their lying ways.

My JW family are not aware as far as I know, know I come here and would be horrified I expect........Mum and Dad are eldery and I'd rather keep the peace, would never want them to go to their death beds having, had the Org tell them to shun me, I hope you can all understand that.......Phew, now that's said............how ethical would it be to sign up on a JW site, pretendng to be active but then introduce bits and bobs regarding false teaching etc etc. Have I done it???...Ooops well yes I have and for the moment seem to be accepted within the community, although I have no doubt that some if not the majority are peeps like me LOL. maybe its my way of contributing to informing JW's of their Organisation and what it is up to etc etc.......any thoughts would be apprecieated

i just had a great idea.it has been inspired by my own post about the comparison of the past reformers of the church with that of ex-jws who seek to reform the wts.
althouh i have gotten very few responses to my post i am convinced that most believe the protestant reformation program accurately symbolizes our own reformation efforts of the wts.
hence comes my big idea.
Think it's a stunning idea and would certainly nail some on the local congs doors here

when does this 70 years start from?
all wts literature says that babylon was destroyed in 539 bce, two years before the end of the 70 years of judahs desolation in 537, which started in 607 bce.. are these two different lots of 70 years?
until recently i was a devout member of the jehovah's witnesses.
i found this to be wholly unreasonable.
how can they say they are protecting the families, when it is usually the paedophiles own children that are being abused!

Tell you what really gets on my nerves, the way my JW Mum and Dad, think the sun shines outta the arses of my blood family who are still JW's....." oh your brother is doing this or she's doing that " that kinda thing...they've never recognised once my achiements academically or otherwise since leaving 15 years ago.
