  Hmmm, I don't have any scars on my arms. Funny, I don't have any scars on my legs either. And what I want to know is who the hell was the farmer? Seems like he's the real hero, not the surprisingly ineffective Devilgator, nor the unsurprisingly impotent Jehovamama. So... who's the farmer, and what is his antitypical gun?

  I just want to chime in here again and say that I don't think anyone who has commented on these threads regarding your situation is overreacting. I cut and paste all of your posts so I could read them in order, and I have to say, I am VERY concerned about your safety and wellbeing. The man you're dealing with is abusive and unstable. You are in an abusive relationship. He is unstable enough to be dangerous. Get a restraining order. Change your locks. Cancel his cell phone. Call ALL of your bank accounts, credit cards, phone company, anyone with whom you have an account and put a password on your private information. Call your credit company and have them put a fraud/theft alert on your accounts, it will put a freeze on any new accounts being opened in your name. You'll have to undo it for your next rental, but it's a good safeguard. If you have any family who can get away and stay with you for a few days while you pack things up, do it. Do not leave a forwarding address.

  Better to escape him now while it is your pride, emotions and self-esteem damaged, than with physical scars or worse.

  i am terrible at names for animals.

  i had a dog once and named him pup.

  our female cats name is kitty.. i had a parrotlet once and never named it.. just said hey bird or birdie!.

  Yeah, I ask my acupuncturist to stick needles in my head. Amazingly, it helps. I have no idea why, but even if it's the placebo effect, I still feel better. :)

  Is It "Wrong" To Say That Someone "Sounds" Black??

  i saw boston legal this past tuesday and denny crane said he was impressed by the "articulate" man who didn't "sound" black.

  this caused an uproar!!!

  in a re-run on curb your enthusiasm, larry david makes a comment that's insulting to a black person and has to immediately apologize for being politically incorrect.. your opinion on this question, please..

  Is it wrong to tell an Aussie that they don't sound Aussie if they are speaking with New Jersey inflection? IMO, it may be poor manners, but it's not "racist." I think Bill Cosby had something to say about this awhile back...

  When I was a kid, we had a neighbor who was from Cornwall. He used to joke with us kids about the way we (West Coasters,) pronounce words like "water" and "mountain." It was rude, but I wouldn't classify it as Brit on American Racism.

  In two years, I've built a business that is so busy I may have to figure out some way to expand. YAY ME!
