i knew what the watchtower taught regarding the "faithful & discreet slave class" but how they could ever suggest that "domestics" were "individual members" of the anointed that were given food to the other anointed ones, yet they specifically were not members of the governing body, but the governing body represented the group that would take the lead in feeding others, was beyond me!
the whole interpretation of the fds doctrine is ridiculous!.
were there certain things that puzzled you as to how the watchtower could come up with a particular view?
Jesus spoke about the re-creation and systems of things to come.

please post your view, then some scriptures to back it up.
then look at what the bible has to say.. my view is simple.
jesus did rise from the dead with his physical tangeble body and he had the marks to prove it.. my scriptural proof are as follows,.
The book that tells this story about Jesus is just hear-say and hand me down. Thousands of years have passed, millions of prayers have been prayed. Translations and misquotes have been made. No sign of Jesus.
Answer me this one question. When Adam and Eve sinned, God immeadiately punished them and all mankind.Death.
When Jesus paid the debt to God, why hasn't God acted immeadiately to reward him and all mankind. Life, Why the 2,000 and more years delay, where is the balance.
When a ransom is paid there is an immeadiate release. God got his ransom and still has not given the release to mankind from death, why?

here is something i thought was a bit weird.. tonights local needs was about depression.
not so much in how we can help those with depression, but about getting over it.. the brother used the scriptures about elijah and the widow to show who was relying on jehovah.. he mentioned how the widow was obviously depressed.
then showed how she should have been like elijah.. as i sat there and listened, i realized his underlying message:.
They have been known to appoint as elders manic depressive brothers as long as they take their meds. Go figure. Does a manic depressive person need more work to do? And one brother that I know couldn't wait to be appointed even knowing that he had on again off again depression with the meds.

i have been sworn to secrecy on a couple of matters that will soon be evident in this regard.
sorry to be 'cryptic' here - but timing is everything when one is trying to bring the very serious [and often ignored in the press] matter of child sexual abuse to the fore.
with barbara anderson's permission, i reproduce part of pages 66 to 68 here for discussion..
Jeff, the watchtower is hiding behind legalise. The right and common sense thing to do is to report child abuse and punish the abuser. No matter what or when certain laws were put in place, it is evident that concern for the abused child or person should come first and that the abuser needs to be dealt with immeadiately. There is such a thing as a moral responsibility to the abused. We don't need legalise and lawyers to explain these fundarmental rights of protection for those who suffer abuse.
Thanks for sharing.

i think there's a lot of them.
they realize that they are not being treated so good.
they might've been elders and ministerial servants or pioneers or bethelites in the past.
I think that the Pioneers do a lot of moaning and complaining with their gossiping at the coffee shop. They talk about this one and that one and so and so and still count their time hours of slow walking and stopping as they talk about everything but what they are supposed be out there for. I know this from experience when I took the lead on weekdays with them. they go through the motions, leave mags and tracts here and there. Ok, some are sincere, most like to boast i'm a pioneer and that makes me better then you. RV's and Bible studies are for rainy days to get inside and have coffee and cake. Not at homes are another reason to make that shopping and stopping at the coffee shop. Their pusblishing record chart is off the wall. The C.O. likes that.

letter to elders, dated march 24, 2000. in reporting cases when individuals have disassociated themselves by engaging in nonneutral activities, the following direction should be followed.. the implication of their action should be reported in harmony with scriptural guidelines.
therefore, when completing the s-77 form, please use such expressions as "violated neutrality" or "took a nonneutral course.
" isaiah 2:4 and john 15:17-19 support these descriptions, as pointed out on page 101 of pay attention to yourselves and to all the flock.
The same "CAUTION" is to be used in all our correspondances, our terminology. Legalise language to cover their ass, cya. This shows that they are a legal publishing corporation with real estate, stocks, buying and selling out the rank and file.

Proverbs 4:18 The fact that they can explain away changes in their teachings. This scripture is the escape hatch for them when THE LIGHT ( A NEW TEACHING ) needs an adjustment. They will use it anytime to fit any changes in their interpretations of doctrines and prophecies as their out in making many mistakes.

Farkel when the lawyers question you be forth-right. The lawyers decide who is accepted or rejected. I use to work in a law library so they rejected me. The second time I was called on a civil case invoving a fall I had a fall and hurt my leg, they rejected me. Both times I wanted the experience of sitting on a jury Perry Mason style. It was not to be. Go ahead you can use the experience and tell us all about it here on JWD after it's over.

may you all have peace!.
please pardon my quotations, capitals, etc.
they are purely for emphasis: i am not yelling; indeed, i have never in my life raised my voice (my voice doesnt do that; if anything, itll go hoarse first).
Seeing and reading..seeing your lord and reading a book that you say came from him. What does your lord have to say about all the other religions in the world and what book of the many others should we read and when will he appear to all of us?
I say stop all this secret coded stuff and show yourself plainly. Isn't that what Jesus did for Thomas, why not the rest of us?
