The C.O.that I wanted to talk to about these things ( when he stopped by to get me to go back to the meetings )said he had to meet the group for lunch.
What if I light up a cigerette right now ,wouldn't you blow your whistle and summon two elders right now! ( call them on his cell phone ).
Well bro.I got to go ,see you at the meeting.

Watching an elder sh*t in his pants... priceless.
by confuzcious incable modem and monthly service charge - $39.95.. paperback copy of ray franz "crisis of conscience" - $19.95.. watching an elder sh*t in his pants... priceless.. one thing i learned is that elder's hate to look bad in front of the c.o.. after numerous attempts to ask the c.o.
for a shepharding call to go over injustices in the congregation, i finally ran into the c.o.
while having his 11:00 coffee break with the congregation.. till then, the elders would stone wall everytime i would ask for a shepharding call from the c.o.

Hi DJ! Ihave been smoking ,"The Story of PHILOSOPHY"by Will Durant.
William James, wrote that sentence just before he passed on ,it was found on his desk.Born 1842,Died1910,His greatest achievement was his book ,The Principles of Psychology.
I posted his last sentence, after his lifetime of works, and hoped to see if anyone could make sense out of his ( CONCLUSION ) when he said that there is NO conclusion.
DJ.What have you concluded,I think its a shame that one could go a whole lifetime searching and end it with his statement,he came up empty,so sad.

What Is Our Responsibility in Life?
by cruzanheart inyesterday sword of jah read the letter i sent to the elders about my dad's death and responded.
he was very kind, even though i called the elders pharisees and the c.o.
stupid and insensitive (i should've been less kind).

"When persons are in great danger from a source that they do not suspect or are being mislead by those they consider their friends,is it an unkindness to warn them? They may prefer not to believe the warning. They may even resent it.But does that free one from the moral responsibility to give that warning?"
Where do you think this quote is from? It is mentioned in the opening pages of Crises of Conscience. It is a quote from The Watchtower magazine,January 15,1974.
What is our responsibility in life?In writing COC.Ray feels that at least a moral responsibility has been met. What each of us will do once having read that book is our own decision. So too,I think in the answer to your question, each of us must decide to what extent we are responsible to others and our own.

WTS says faith is not enough! (Worship Bk chap 8)
by ozziepost inmost people would think that having faith is what is required for a christian.
but it seems the borg is saying that something more than faith is required.
that seems to be the thinking in chapter 8 of the recently released book worship the only true god.

When Adam sinned, the whole of mankind was put on death row,it did not matter if you believed this or not.It did not matter that you did good or bad works.what you did or believed did not matter. It was what Adam did that mattered, belief and works had nothing to do with it.
When Jesus obeyed, the whole world was released from death row,it does not matter if you believed this or not.It did not matter that you did good or bad works. What you did or believed did not matter. It was what Jesus did that mattered, belief and works had nothing to do with it.
The reality screams out at mankind Adam-Death,History proves this out.
The reality screams out at mankind Jesus-life,History does NOT prove this out.
So, the 2,000 yr.old debt that has been paid is long overdue or ??????????

Gilead School Courses
by VM44 inin the thread "jehovahs witness university" there are many humorous posts about what would be taught at a jw university.
in the thread it was pointed out that the jws do have a recognized school, gilead.. what i have never seen is a list of the courses taught at gilead.
they must have some structured curriculum in order to grant a diploma.

The WT.June 15,2003 pg.25. "WE WERE TAUGHT TO USE THE SCRIPTURES ON A NEW LEVEL".
From the 114th Gilead School Graduation on March 8,2003.
On a new level ? What new level ,it's not explained what that means.48 students now know what 6,000,000 members of the rank and file, including Branch,Zone,District,Circuit and Elders don't know????

COC WHO DECIDED THAT IT IS AN APOSTATE BOOK !
by Blueblades ini know the society did.but on what basis?
have they given evidence of any apostate material from crises of conscience, that stands up?ray was disfellowedshipped for eating a meal with peter and that is not apostascy.
so,on what basis is the book declared apostate material.i have not found any evidence from the society that points to apostate material from the book itself.surely they must of read it to make such an announcement to the rank and file not to read it.
