If Extraterrestrials are found existing, will people abandon the Bible?
by Kalos ini have heard people say: if space exploration proves extraterrestrials do exist, that would be the end of the bible (which teaches earth is the only place there is life).. i feel this will not happen, because already science proved certain views reflected in the bible are wrong:.
1) joshua stopped the sun to win the war (joshua 10:3).
2) satanthinking earth is flattook jesus to the top of the mountain so that all kingdoms of the earth could be visible to the eyes (to person like jesus, just saying is enoughwhy need a vision of all kingdoms of the earth.

Definately !! I cant believe someone else has the spirit inspired insight to have realised this.
If anyone wants proof it exists you only need consult the watchtower.
Believe brother believe, do not even consider other explanations they have satans fingerprints all over them.
Go nessie our salvation is in your hands.

Strange situation
by Gorbatchov inhi folks,.
the rank and file is now in a strange situation.. it is clear that the jw leadership is in for a huge change.
the type / anti type change makes clear that they make a u-turn.. it's clear that with this changes the current doctrine are temporary.

I...I have no words
by Theredeemer ini cannot wrap my mind around the fact that there is jw tv.
being a born in and living most of my life hearing how tv evangelism is wrong and lazy preaching yet seeing this unfold solidifies this religion as a cult!.
i remember back when i began my fade a few years ago i told my brother during an argument how this religion is just like any other religion in that its bull.

They can feel jehovah's guiding hand in the studio!!
You really can't make this stuff up!!
Isn't this venture just absolute proof they are indeed as much a part of the world as the rest.
They have indeed succumbed to the satanic influence of the internet they had previously warned against.
A big one up for jehovah's mortal enemy.

Does the bible have a central theme? Does it prove inspiration?
by GreenhornChristian indoes the bible have a central theme?.
there seems to be a general consensus throughout christian religions that there is a consistent theme throughout the bible.
the seeming evidence of a theme coming from a collection of books written by over 40 different authors over a period of 1500 years is what givse credence to the claim that the bible is an inspired literary work.

Take 40,50,66 even, murder mystery books by different authors written at different times.
You wanna find a central theme eh? Let me think! That's it! Got it.

Hi nhah..anger? Im not sure perhaps perturbed, perplexed even fumingly annoyed sometimes.
Probably because as an ' athiest 'its a puzzle why those who are open minded, who will reason on evidence, who are educated can still cling to supernatural explanation for their existence ie the god being causing a deliberate, purposeful action.
I suppose it takes all sorts to make a world (keep bertie bassett out of it if you know what I mean)
Best wishes. ?

What christians don't want to admit
by opusdei1972 inwhen i left the wt organization, i continued to believe in the bible, so i wanted to confirm and refine, as much as possible, my faith that the true god is in the bible.
so i began to discuss with skilled christians, who were also ex-witnesses.
but i was surprised when some of them tried to relax my fundamentalist position on the literalness of the genesis account.

The reality cancels the myth.
Our place is no more than literally where we are.
