I don’t see why the “M” word is something that defines love or commitment outside of old outdated tradition and the lining of the pockets of “D” attorneys.

Bingo.
Having children is the biggest commitment someone can make. I don't get how some people can be so casual about it.

Is there a way for children to raise children, or should the parent raise the children? Or show the children, how to raise their little children correctly?
Sorry if I was harsh but you did leave out some very important info.
Your children should come first. If she is abusive you need to take steps immediately. If she is agreeable, you may be able to get counseling. If not, you need to take the child and leave. Not tomorrow, not next week. NOW. Call the police, report her to children's services. Trust me, your child will thank you for it later. Look for programs in your area for abused spouses. I just did some work for a charity that assisted abused men and women in restarting their lives.
The only thing worse than an abusive parent is a parent who stands by and lets their child be abused.
What?
No, I don't need to call the police for back up to protect me from my woman. THAT is MY responsibility.
We both come from extreme bull headed bloodlines. Fighting to the death before surrendering. Her family and my Chickumunga Indian (The Hostiles) heritage, go way back. What does that make my firstborn? My little "satan" Quintin? One hell of a challenge thats what!
think I am going to run to some cops to protect me from them? Think I am going to allow some doctor dope him up and make him a controllable placid zombie? Not while my heart is beating.
No I am never going to surrender until I find an answer to this dilemma, or I am dead dead dead.
I can handle my woman and my little tiger cub, or I can die a failure trying...
Did i say or do anything wrong? I don't want to be "ho". I only want to make a "good informed decision".Any thoughts?
Wellll....
Pretty unrealistic to think you could meet every woman on earth or that all of them would be interested in you anyway. So you must be speaking figuratively. If my guy felt that way, to be honest, I'd say, honey those that will have you, can have you. Go do it. Meanwhile, I'm going to move on with my life and concentrate on finding someone who will truly love ME. Your lady deserves that same type of closure. You are really cheating both of you. And your innocent son will pay the biggest price.
Let me put this real simple, I understand you are only 105. I am grasping for straws to find the best thing for all three of us, with my desires coming in last. I was only being honest about how I felt at the time. Hoping to get some honesty in return. My humble apologies...
I still wish I knew how she HONESTLY felt about me, and what she wanted for real. Then we could comprimise to finding happiness for us both. Or should I call the backup in and go on with my life knowing I failed my woman, my son, and my Father? How do you guys do it in Russia?
No, I don't need to call the police for back up to protect me from my woman.
I didn't mean to imply that you needed protection from her. I was thinking more along the lines of providing documentation in case you wanted to sue for custody.
I like how you said that....You sounded like an attorney....Nice use of words.
Isn't it fun...or is it just me?
Is that what He meant by "being cautious as serpents, yet innocent as doves?"
If so, I would just like to say thank you, this sure is fun!!!
I've heard your story before. So many men cry about it: "My woman's a mean old bitch."
When you didn't get the answers you wanted on this thread, you came back to tell us just how awful your girlfriend is to try to win people over to your point of view. Yep, your girlfriend is a bitch and you, of course, are so loving and kind. Just staying with her because of the kid.
Bullshit
It takes 2 to tango, old boy. You're not innocent in this. I'd wager money on it.
