Happily married for 3 years. 8 in total but 3 happy ones.

LMAO @ Dams and unclebrucey. You two are a hoot.

I've been married and it sucked. I seem to be attracted to men who are perfect...perfectly wrong for me. LOL I'm single and prefer to remain so.

LoL, I`m with prophecor on that one, ha ha. Hey, I have a question: I`m not married, but I live with a woman. In most european languages, we have a word for that, in norwegian it`s "samboer", which means "the one you live with", and is almost equivalent to married. Is there no word for that in english? I mean, instead of having to say that "I live with a woman blah blah", etc...

    Hi hellrider,

The census tried to call them POSLQ's - persons of opposite sex sharing living quarters. The name never caught on - I wonder why?

In Texas, it's "common-law wife" or "partner". My aunt calls people who live together "shack ups." Interestingly, she was a 'shack up' in her younger years.

    Hi greendawn,

I've had MR wrong, and MR not quite right. So I'm single and looking for MR Right or Mr good enough.

Don't know who said it first, but I've heard it said: "Better to be be alone and lonely, than to be married and miserable"
