See Highlander, you missed the humor of the statement. I was replying to anothers comment. Obviously you have nothing of value to offer me in response to a very serious query I posted. I may have to begin a tour of KH's to see for myself.

how are you finding it in Haiti, the competition with pestilence, plague and voodoo I mean?
Haiti is alright, however my next stop is Iceland. I should be there in a few minutes as soon as this forum updates my profile.
Iceland is a bit cold, however upon my last visit I found the women are hot!

Ihaveasavior -- just a little side note for you. The reason a lot of us post here is because we are trying to be emotionally healed from being involved in a cult religion. Many people, including myself, feel that the Jehovah's Witnesses are truly a cult religion; they teach slanted views of the Bible that enourage people to follow the Watchtower Society and to cut off most friends and family who are not involved or friendly toward the JW teachings.
That explains the sarcasm and the humor that I actually really enjoy reading when I post here, it is not meant to offend you.

Viewing women as hot is strictly forbidden by JW, as I have read elsewhere. Further, it is also looked upon in all followings as sinful in nature to lust. Not to mention the degrading and childish manner in which you refer to those of the oposite sex.

I truly mean it when I say that I have empathy for each and everyone who is in recovery from the teachings of JWS.. I found this site strictly by "Asking Jeevs" and thought that this was a forum hosted by those active in JWS. Having a JW as a classmate at a very young age, I have always been perplexed by the cult, as you call it. Raised in the Catholic church the subject of JW was strictly avoided as demonic, although we were introduced to the religious beliefs of churches I mentioned earleir.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all, as someone who has been delivered from drugs and alcohol I can say I know how "mind control" can destroy.

I find that interesting. Very similiar to the JW's view of discussing other religions. JW's view all other religions as that of the devil.

Think about this though Highlander, you may not be a JW but you are a creation of God Almighty, and as many believe the giver of all life. I know this might not trouble you but there are many who believe that His judgement of our actions here on earth could lead to eternal damnation, and from what I hear, it's not a pretty place.

As I got older and began to exercise my "own free will" I was exposed to what I believe to be truth, "God wishes for none to perish..." and, " We are all made in His image..." So much for believing the punishment statements and low self-esteem issues.
