Now I will have to resort to self-flagellation

Dave - its okay I know the scriptural rules on flogging - its a lot less stringent than those on sex. Remember all theose verses about not holding back the rod etc - I think its fine if we meet up for some whip-based punishment ... we're just a eurostar away!

Do not tempt me, Crumpet! I'm just a man, you know and as you said, we're just a eurostar away. On the other hand, as long as we feel remorse before, during and after the sinful act...

Do you think being an ex-Jehovah's Witnesses has an influence on one's sexual behavior (inhibitions or, on the contrary, unsatiable appetite for sex)? I sure have spent too many years in the Org!

    Yes!!

After almost 25 years of not being touched by a man, I'm enjoying making up for lost time.......

Crumpet: Is this a Freudian slip:

I have every confidence in Jehovah's organ

From what I hear, it's a whopper! Ian

UncleBruce has made a quite graphic point here. Now why do you think they called her the "flying nun"? She presents for me quite an image in a convent.

    Puzzled but intrigued,

I almost forgot the worst sin of them all. To look at a person of the opposite sex with lustful intet is really bad but it is even worse if the person is of the same sex. There is just no way to win is there? Anyway, I can't really understand why the same people who are against abortion also seem to hate homosexuals. I mean who has less abortions then the homosexuals? You would think they make natural allies. Norm

Good point Crumpet. My wife and I were at one time zealous jw's, but missionary doesn't do it for her. If she wants pleasure we have to consider other positions. I remember this missionary position was mentioned during a public talk, we looked at each other thinking if the elders knew how we had sex what would become of us. Our attitude was stuff the society, no one has the right to dictate what we do in our own home. Enough of my private life.

    fullofdoubtnow,
I think being an ex-JW really has an influence on a person's sexual behavior. There are probably more ex-Jay Dubs who make up for lost time. And there are probably others who still can't talk or think about sex without shame or guilt. As for me, I'm quite glad I'm not part of the second category ...
Maybe I was naive, but I never understood that the missionary position was the only "lawful" way to do it. I remember that in the speeches at the KH (the audience were trying - as hard as they could - to show blank faces) they mentioned "unnatural" practices and I don't remember the standards ever been clearly enunciated. I thought the interpretation was left to the married couple's conscience.
