...Already the "enemies" of truth have begun to "rear their ugly heads in annoyance," some, on this board, even now,

Some are "readying themselves" to RESIST, just as Satan has inspired them to do...The chief "Resister" of God and Truth.

However,

1 John 4:1 gives us the "formula" for testing out "truth," and the "inspired expression, the inspired, utterance from God":

"Beloved ones, do not believe EVERY inspired expression, but TEST THE INSPIRED EXPRESSIONS TO SEE whether they originate with God..."

"Test" it... to see whether it comes from God... yes, "test" it ... by using the same tool first century christians had...the ones John spoke of above. We must conduct the "test" using the same tool they had ... the Holy Scriptures themselves. Yes, we must use it, to conduct your "Test," ... not some "man's opinion or ideas."

After that, after the "test", using the Bible, then, and only then, make your "personal" determination of the matter. We must not let "others" decide for us, personally. We must make our own decisions on what is "truth." Our "personal" decision.

Remember, Satan is The "resister" to the "truth." He hates it, and he did not "stand fast in it," because "truth is not in him," ... the same way, it is not in some of us on this board, today, as we speak. The "truth" is NOT in ALL OF US, so the Bible says. All of us, do not "love truth," as we should. We must be watchful of these ones. -- John 8:44

Do I have "freedom" to post here...do I? Is this not, a non-moderated board, we are all posting on. I have every much "right" to post here, as anyone else...or did you not know that?

But posting here, is no big deal to me...I actually post "occasionally" on 4 forums to date, "Jerusalem2 Outpost," "Eden2 Outpost," H2O, and this one.

I post when I have a question I wish to entertain comments on, and also when I think someone is sincere in their "search" for truth. When I think they "may" be worth, the time and trouble, ... only then.

Then, I will make an attempt to help. I use the Bible as my principle "instrument" to help.

But I think you are after something more... Could it be my identity... who do I claim to be?

Really, I make no secret of whom I claim to be,

Isaiah 49:1-4; 50:6,7 eloquently speaks of a "mystery" Servant To Israel, whoms the nation of "Israel" loves to "SPIT UPON," and "DETEST" ... who wishes to make him "ASHAMED" of his God-Given Assignment.

"Listen to me, O you islands, and pay attention, you national groups far away. Jehovah himself has called even me from the belly. From the inward parts of my mother he has made mention of my name. And he proceeded to make my mouth like a sharp sword. In the shadow of his hand he has hidden me. And he gradually made me a polished arrow. He concealed me in his own quiver. And he went on to say to me: "You are my servant, O Israel, you the one in whom I shall show my beauty."
"But as for me, I said: It is FOR NOTHING that I have toiled. For UNREALITY and VANITY I have USED UP MY OWN POWER...

Who is this person? Is this Jesus?

Who do you think the Holy Scriptures speaks of, in these prophetic verses -- this "mystery" "Israel," this "Mystery Servant," "Ah Hah"?

Jesus or someone else... who do you say?

The verses continue, Isaiah 50:6. 7,

"The Sovereign Lord Jehovah himself has opened my ear, and I, for my part, was not rebellious. I did not turn in the opposite direction. My back I gave to the strikers, and my cheeks to those plucking off the hair. My face I did not CONCEAL FROM HUMILIATING THINGS AND SPIT."

"Ah Hah," Who do you think the Bible is speaking of here in the above verses, in prophecy?

Who is this person, that Jehovah God has "hidden,", "concealed" "in his quiver."... The one that Jehovah God has indeed, "shown his BEAUTY." The one that Israel loves to "spit" upon? Even in our day?

Who is he? Who was he? Maybe, Jesus?????

Whom? Maybe you do not know.

I'll tell you something special, although your words are motivated, and fomented in your mouth in sheer hatred...

Revelation 10:7 still says:

"but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he about to blow his trumpet, the SACRED SECRET OF GOD according to the good news which he declared to his own slaves THE PROPHETS is indeed brought to a finish."

The "answers" you all seek, can only be found in the "prophets," the "slaves of God." The "prophets," like Isaiah, Daniel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah... the "prophets," ... the prophetic books, the prophetic books contained ALL OF THE ANSWERS you seek on this forum.

That I will tell you ahead of time...whether you believe, or choose NOT TO BELIEVE... the "answers" are there.

But meanwhile, thru out my posting here, you will notice liberal usage of the Bible, Scriptures, God's Word.

To those who have "ears," let them "listen." The words of Jesus, as you recall, and yes, my sentiments too.

It was just a simple question. I didn't say anything about hate.

So, what I got from that lengthy, defensive answer to a simple question was that you fancy yourself a prophet of God, foretold in the Bible, and that you are looking for seekers of "truth" to whom you can preach your message (which seems to be almost entirely based on interpretations of old testament prophets).

Did I get that right?

So, if you get some internet followers here and there are you going to start your own internet religion, perhaps even a little Jonestown somewhere? If so, when do you get around to asking for donations -- or have you already done so?

Do we really sound that stupid to you? By the way, what kind of medications are you on?

I am monitoring this thread very carefully and I want to give the users of this board opportunity to make a statement in reference to what has already been said before I make any more comments about it.
MDS:You are correct in assuming that I am groping for God and for truth. I plan to comment on some of the things that you said once sufficient time has elapsed for all to make their comments. I don't particularly like your style of delivery of your message but I do read what you post and I look at it as objectively as humanly possible just like I do everyone else's posts.
I say again, I am searching for the truth. I say again that before I will accept anyone's claim of being God's spokesman I will require significant credentials from that one. You make many references to the Hebrew Scriptures and the writings of the prophets. They were empowered to perform miracles in order to establish that they were from God. I would expect no less from a modern day prophet unless the Holy Spirit were to speak to me directly and indicate to me personally what God's will is for me. I pray regularly and fervently for God's Spirit to give me direction. But as badly as I want it (you have no way of knowing just how much I want it!) I will not move unless I am totally convinced that it comes from God.
I thank you and all the other posters for your kindnesses in replying to this thread.

Dammit! We scared MDS/Thebittertruth/etc., AGAIN! I hate to be cynical, but having to buy a book to learn the truth doesn't turn me on. Instead of laying it on the line, he uses cryptic talk to try to attract people. He seems to beat and beat and beat around the bush.

MDS, can't you see how this looks? I appreciate Frenchy's reply to your post.
