Hey, funky has some rather severe opinions about fat people. That would sting if I let it. But I don't.

a) Leaving the board because of a poster or two, when there are so many who obviously like you seems unfair to them who want you to stick around, but hey it's your life.

b) We're not always going to like every poster on the board, some we just might get annoyed with or vice versa. That's cool. When people dislike us, it is something of a reality check (Hope that makes sense)

c) This board is Huge! There are so many people here and there are so many personalities. That would be a good thing. It's diversity! Diversity is awesome. Funky D has his opinion, I have mine. Does he say things that piss people off? Sure. So do I. But he and others we disagree with Or who call us out on things (even if it is harsh at times) still provide a certain diversity and sometimes we might even find thoughts that keep challenging the way we think which is good. Challenge is good.

d) Get your arse back here!!! You're missed already!

Don't be such a huge baby. Use your words and work out your differences with other people--or ignore them.

If that response of his is really going to make you leave, then good riddance. On the other hand, if you are able to make the right choice and stick around despite the fact that someone disagrees with (or *gasp* insults) you, then please stay--this forum (and for that matter the world at large) can use more people like that.

Please don't leave. Funky has very passionate views. He tries to challenge a lot of us. Please realize that all of get flamed, especially when we first come to JWD. I've learned a lot since I've been here about getting along with people. I used to get flamed a lot more than I do now. Humor is a good thing. Lightening things up is a good thing. As long as we don't get our laughs at the expense of another, we are fine.

I haven't read the post either.

Forums provide people with security through anonymity. Like road rage they feel they can have balls of steel because it is highly unlikely the other person will ever have a chance to physically confront them. Also it is easier to hurt someone when your not looking them in the eyes.

Dont' leave all your friends because one bully picked on you.
