i think maybe a few years ago i could deal with it, now i think i would loose my head completely if my husband had to cheat on me, Its takes a while to trust someone, i believe trust is strengthend by the love you share for years, it deepens with time.
When that trust is broken, it will take alot of heartache and emotional upheavel to get past such a thing, i don't know whether i could!
The love of your life "cheats" on you....could you forgive?

No way. The relationship would be poisoned from that day forward....there would be constant, unspoken resentment and bitterness. I just wouldnt want to be in a relationship like that.

If someone is the love of your life you don't hurt them by cheating on them, period. When you love someone you want what is best for them, you do whatever it takes to make sure that he/she is happy b/c when they are happy you are happy and when they are hurt you hurt for them, so cheating on them would never be an option b/c it would hurt YOU to see the pain you've caused "the love of your life". If someone I cared about cheated on me there is no way I would stay.

"An old lady's two cents" - Mouthy An old lady's two cents are worth far more than a hundred $100.00 dollar bills given from an inexperienced younger one. Life's lessons and experiences learned and shared from our older ones are invaluable, priceless. Thanks Mouthy. BP

As far has I'm concerned there is no right or wrong answer to this question.
Everyone is different...........But remember this is the "love of your LIFE" as in, you will never find anyone like this person, in your life time, again.
For me, I would forgive...................I would not want to lose the "love of my LIFE" because of one night!

If she confessed it, felt guilty and never wanted to do it again, I would think that's very forgivable.

You are awesome! Do you have a spot here on the internet where you have a story of your life or story about your JW life? You are inspiring!!
