Last night I observed and was an active participantat a Memorial with my brothers and sisters in Christ. (we were using Galillean time, as per the book of John). It is always a moving experience as I remember the supreme sacrifice made on my personal behalf.

Tonight I will go as an observer but only to use it as an opportunity for further talks with my JW contacts about the organization's refusal to allow them to be disciples of Christ.

Greetings from down under (the up side down Jock)

I am sorry to hear that the control the Witchtower has; can make

decent people like us feel forced to associate with them......

Last night, as was our custom, in the privacy of our own home

joined by fellow like spiritually minded ones; we in, obedience

to our lord and saviour, had a fine scriptural discussion and

enjoyed the only meeting we now commenorate.

Love and freedom of expression prevailed.

The bread and wine continues to have great meaning

    as defined in Matt 26................

All present enjoyed our memorial, small as it was, without the leven

    of the Witchtower

May the almighty God continue to bless your escape from the

    centre of Babylon

    Christian love,

    Jock

    Hi everyone

Sitting here reading about the memorial, I find myself humming the melody. Do you remember the melody? I has'nt been to a memorial for about I 8 years now.

And it's the only thing I miss. I loved that song, the melody.

But when this is said, have you ever thought about, that when you don'nt enjoy the symbols, you are actually saying no to Jesus?

I read about it for a litle while ago. It's only the 144.000 who are brothers and sister to Jesus. That made me think and wonder. Jesus gave his life to all of us. Not only 144.000.

I think there is something tricky here, don't you
