Well, the new addition arrived home yesterday. Yorkie isn't too happy at the moment because the new kitty chased him last night! I'm giving him extra attention but I've had to let him go outside this morning, hoping that he'll come back in. He knows he's loved here, I can't do anything else other than let him be the cat he is. I know he can look after himself if he won't come back in - plus he has his other residence down the street lol!

    Still worrying about him though

    Phew! He has returned

He even sat on my lap for about 10 minutes whilst the interloper was sitting next to me. He grumbled a lot - but that doesn't matter because she is stone deaf lol! He's gone away to sleep in his own safe space now. I don't think the arguing is over yet but we may not be far off.

Our household is structured thus: the daughter, 37...grandchildren, boy 6, girl 13...my wife and I old and grey...I am the Bap-paw, named by my grandaughter when she was 3 since she could not say grandpaw. Over time it has eroded into The Bap.

The Bap does it all, it seems...his name called out many times over during the day. Bring me this, get me that...what's for supper...take out the trash...the plants need watering...the cats need food...the cats need water...the boy needs a bath tonight...you talk to her, I don't like the way she folds her arms, rolls her eyes and glares at me(seems some have no memory of being 13)...on and on time out of mind.

Yesterday was my birthday...I was born 516,840.0 hours ago...it has become not where the time has gone, rather where is the time going...

Thanks, as ever, emo, for your delightful posts!

Happy Birthday, Quentin. You've sure got some hours racked up there. How many of those spent in service, eh?!?!?

Ah Quentin, if we knew where we were going, life might be so boring!

Greetings coco! I hope that life is treating you well.

I'm on a long weekend, no work till wednesday, woohoo! Today my sister and I went to a nearby tourist place - clue, the home of the Brontes! Most of the shops were shut, but the open ones were brilliant. i found a couple of second-hand books - including an Adventist one from 1938 which is distinctly like a WT book in design and layout. I looked online at prices and it seems I got a bargain as its worth about 4 times what I paid! I want to read and study it first though - see how their view of world events back then compares with JWs.

My cats are now both gradually settling down. Yorkie isn't sulking as much, Halle (new kitty) just eats, sleeps and snores - loudly!!

To the Emoitess Priestess of Calm:

    Georg Philipp Telemann:

That he had little intention of putting aside his interest in music is evident from his stop at Halle, en route to Leipzig, in order to make the acquaintance of the young Handel.

GPT reportedly said that if a composer gives each instrument what it can easily sustain, the player will be happy and you will be entertained.

Today I will man our booth at the NESEA (green building) Show... and tonight I'm going to the Theater with my best friend.

    Wishing everyone a wonderful day!
