I'm impressed! I could only replicate some of your tasks, being the ordinary bloke I am ...
Just threw two loaves of bread into the oven (equivalent to your supper item).
Thanks for the input.

Its past midnight and I'm wide awake - well my mind is, my eyes are tired. Been another long and busy day at work again.
my sole kitty is lying next to me, we're jes chillin' for now. I'm going to go and find him a new buddy in a couple of weeks when I can get time off work
So I've been seeing someone for a few months and this weekend he tells me that he loves me and what do I do? I reply by saying "Uhhu" thats the best I could come up with, *groans*.
Sigh...
Finally blew my top with someone at work today. The guy is such a parasite - takes everything, doesn't clean up after himself, gives nothing back - and slags everyone else off if they dare to try the same! How does one deal with such a person whilst trying to continue with one's own work and without coming off worse?
One day, someone will give him a serious thumping - it might be me at this rate lol!
I am a temple of calm.
I am a temple of calm...
"Uhhu" and "I am a temple of calm."
Works fo me!
Thanks!

I took the day off work today, even though I really ought to have gone (overtime, not my normal hours). I figured that 5 days of crap was enough to put up with for this week at least!
So instead, I went into town, did some shopping, treated myself to lunch at a nice cafe - roast lamb with all the trimmings, yummy!
Later in the afternoon I met my friend who I haven't seen for a while and we had coffee and cake. I feel rather tubby at the moment LOL!
AND - I've adopted another elderly kitty. She looks like a Furby!! She has a really long coat so all you can see is a ball of black fluff with a face attatched! She eats and sleeps and loves being cuddled and pampered - good job since she'll need grooming twice a day! She is staying in her foster home until next weekend though. I hope Yorkie likes her - I think he will
Dear Emo:
I hope you get some needed rest and relaxation.
Good to hear about your new fur ball!

QUARREL WITH A CROSS BEAU
A disquieted, quivering Paolo Pulzone was admiring from afar the lovely Anna Archer, who was standing stock still upon the hillock, the wind gently giving rise to the flowing blond tresses of the lass. It was all Paolo could do to bridle his conflicting emotions and not cast aspersions upon the guileless and fletching Anna. She had had a quarrel with her beau, now cross, but wished not to prod the excitable Pulzone to rack and ruin by releasing further invective upon his head. The strings of his heart were already all atwang; the broad headed bowyer needed no further triggers setting him off-target. He had reached his nocking point and all his levers were soon to become unhinged. "Verretto verretto non quadrello dardo," mused the spineless and cross beau, as he stropped on his stirrups and headed home ...
The music playing over the radio, whose tinge of melancholia was staining deeply Ned's already languishing spirit, served, nevertheless, to solidify his resolve to make a choice. The tune, though meandering somewhat through a melodically minor soundscape, still moved inexorably toward a sunny resolution of harmonic consonance. Harmony - in one's music, one's life.
Wanting the best of both worlds but living in two distinctly different neighborhoods, as it were, is a near impossibility. Perhaps not. The logistics of keeping a hand in the work that nourished Ned's ever-hungry inner self - his core - and struggling to maintain some guilt-free personal time simply had to be worked out. Something's going to give. That much is certain. Better to take realistic steps toward a more balanced lifestyle than risk a total meltdown.
