LOL @ JH's photoshop job!!! I needed that tonight thanks :-)

BB - eek at your niece! I hope it's safe enough to do that there. They call it 'tombstoning' over here and it's a craze with young folks. Quite a few have lost their lives :-(

We have a severe weather warning for tomorrow - high winds and heavy rain. Oh well, we've had 2 weeks of summer!

I've had a crappy day today - but hey, it can only get better! I need a good night's sleep. Off to start the vigil thread now and then to bed.

    Have a good day/evening all.

    Hello, Friends!

So good to have the entourage back! Thanx, Mrs. Bee for sharing those great shots. So BEEoouteefull! Don't get blown away, Emo - be careful out there. Did you get a bumper crop of tomatoes in your two weeks of summer?????!!!!!! Good, too, seeing our JoHo the Rat-Face Boy again!

Off to spend the week with Foo Foo and pals, along with Monty Python and the Cave of Fear. Will check in as able and try to get on the VIGIL thread, Emo.

    Best wishes,

    CoCo

    Hi all

It's been another steady week here. The really bad weather missed us fortunately. I'm very tired and eating little at the moment - ah well, need to get some weight off anyway!

Congrats on the new addition CoCo :-)

    Have a good weekend all.

Hope your energy returns soon, Emo. I understand the "fatigue factor" all too well. Moving about just to fix a snack seems, at times, an effort of monumental proportions.
At least I can still move my fingers - the ones that Foo Foo et al deigned to allow to remain in my possession. King Arthur and entourage (of the Blessed Monty Python and the Holy Grail) at the cave of "fear" were face to face with a pipsqueak compared to my horror of lapinesque horrors.

    Hi all

Where are you CoCo? I hope you are well and haven't been finished off by those wascally wabbits! Say the word and I will send a batallion of my chipmunk hordes round to sort them out!!

My fatigue has decreased somewhat in the last week and I'm managing to eat better too which is a big help - I've eaten out a few times, which is costly but if it helps, it's worth it. Work is quiet today but we're getting ready to launch our e-shop so I'm making good use of the time trying to make sure we have the latest products on and that the prices are correct - a few times I forgot to edit the price, so it was advertised as free!

Ah sometimes the mundane is oddly refreshing!

    Have a good day all.

Still feeling sleepy from a restful weekend. Didn't go anywhere, but for a walk each day. The car stayed parked. So different from the old days when I was coerced into being busy all weekend long with jobs - domestic and secular - and meetings and service. I was not "allowed" to take time off; to skip even an occasional Sunday meeting was anathema! Hell to pay when I did stay home on Sunday ... Another life, so very long ago ... Sigh.

WHAT IS SO WRONG ABOUT GOING
    NOWHERE ONCE IN A WHILE?!?!?

Now I call the shots. Read more about the Triwizard Competition at Hogwarts. Slept. Watched "National Treasure" [Lady Liberty's fave, I recall] for the 3rd time and also "Aviator." Watched them both on my labtop. Oh, not to forget! Had JWD on for most of the time - staying in touch with my friends and on top of the REAL news! LOLOLOL!

    Bye ...

I've had a really lazy day today - didn't get up till 10.45, had a coffee and then went to a local eatery for a very leisurely breakfast/lunch till almost 2pm. surfed here for a couple of hours and then went to my brothers for tea and my weekly dose of tv!

You're right CoCo, nothing wrong at all with going nowhere - or doing nothing - once in a while :-)

Thanks, emo. Glad you enjoyed your lazy day and a bit of necessary TV. Going to an eatery is always better with another's society ["company" in the States].
This weekend was a great time to knock off as it FINALLY rained - warm and cozy indoors with the furnace newly lit. In addition, our forest fire danger has been reduced from extreme/very high to moderate.
Yesterday was the first day of autumn. Leaves are already turning color.

    Till later,

I've been really enjoying work the last three weeks. I've been working out at my old employer's "estate". He's away in Italy and I'm looking after his doggies during the day while working. His son who lives in the three bedroom "guest" house looks after them at night.

I have a beautiful view of the grounds all day. The trees are just starting to turn and it's lovely. I sit outside on the patio and listen to the fountains in the pond at lunch. I take some extra time and take the dogs for a walk down to get the mail and the newspaper from the bottom of the driveway - it's a 10 minute walk each way, it's a long winding tree lined driveway. Today though I got caught in the rain!! It was an overcast and drizzly day, and halfway down it started to pour! I thought I just might make the trip before it rained, but mother nature had other ideas! I was going from tree to tree trying to stay dry, but it didn't work! lol Oh well, how can I complain when I'm in such surroundings?

Sadly he comes home on Thursday, so that will be my last day out there, then it's back to the dreary office.

    Thank you, Dear Bee!

I'm sorry that I missed this lovely paean to nature when first posted. I wish you more such housesitting experiences - I do likewise and love it.
