YOUR DAILY JOURNAL
Hey Compound!!!
I love this journal thing, great idea!!!
Ok, so down to business...
Dear Diary,
I'm doing good today. I'm going to start a list of things I don't want to hear, then give it to my husband... (I'm sure his list will be a lot longer, lol):
1. Why aren't you going out in service?
2. ok, that's all I got for now.
Things I do want to hear:
1. Let's play a boardgame.
2. How was your day?
3. Let's go for a car ride and talk!
4. Let skip service/ meeting today!
Ok, so my list is kinda lame, but those are the things that I want right now...
OK I'll bite....Got up at 6:00 am. Logged into JWD, naturally. Happy birthday NMG, thank you all. Had my first cup of coffee, along with my first smoke of the day, and the first smoke in a string of last smokes, as today I begin a quit smoking prescription drug.
7:00am, had my second cup of coffee and my 3rd smoke of the day, argh. Putzed awile, took my shower, shaved all of that. Made the bed for my wife who started work at 6:00am. Played ball in the house with our 2 West Highland Terriers, they love dad playing ball in the a.m.
Left for work at 7:30am. I work for myself, took care of a couple of jobs that had me travel a total of some 60 miles. Made a couple bucks, finished my week ok $$$ wise. Got home at 11:30.
Here I am back on JWD. Having a sandwich, and a JACK and GINGER!!!! It is my birthday after all....
Tonight it's our mixed doubles bowling league at 6:00. More draft beer, Labatt. And I am sure that they will Happy Birthday me up on the overhead scoreboards. Ya can't escape that , not with my wife!!LOL.
So, there you have it all in a nut shell. Maybe in the future I'll be a little more creative but for now, hey!

3. Let's go for a car ride and talk!
Hey, cognac!
Greetings! All your entries are good, but I noted #3.
When some JW couples I know get to do something together it's either a sacrifice or stealing time from the Organization. Guilt. Inability to truly enjoy the time off.
You have to be really away from the total immersion aspect of JWism before you can start to feel and act normal.
I hope you get what you want.

I have sat in deep regret that I was never a naturist and now am to many pounds over to play twister in the nude!
It is so sad coz I had some great positions in mind and now the world will never se them!
Hello everyone reading the Journal .....Today is my BIRTHDAY !!!!!!!!!!! Or should I say several anniversaries of my 39th birthday hahaha. I had a great time last Saturday when my friends took me out early for my first ever Birthday Celebration , I wore a birthday girl tiara and was given a few free drinks from bartenders .:) We laughed ,danced and drank all night good times !
Now as for today
Dear Diary I got some really interesting news last night ! My 70-ish JW aunt sent me an invitation to her 44 yr old JW son's wedding . We never thought he would ever marry .You see he has always been a little slow and lived with mom and dad his whole life . He does drive and work , but just never top of the game . Really a sweet tempered kind of guy . Well it seems a JW woman recently divorced seems to believe he is the perfect mate for her ....AND Father for HER SEVEN children !!!!!!!! My Aunt lives in a fairytale land were this arraingement seems sensible because what ever problems arise will be okay because they will rely on Jehovah for guidance ....... Yup that's going to pay the rent and feed the kids !
I've found this week hard emotionally, but I have good friends - both here and at home. I think I've done with the grieving of losing my job and am ready to settle into a new 'unemployed' routine now. it will be better once all the red tape which is currently stopping any finance coming my way is all gone.
Got one veg plot dug over today - my first potatoes are planted - just in time because its raining now. The rain will also damp down the huge bonfire I started this morning as long as it doesn't rain too much, I'll be outdoors again tomorrow with a restoked bonfire and trying to dig another plot for carrots and onions.
Tried out Loubelle's recipe tonight - yummy! Tomorrow I'll be having cottage pie with the leftovers - I'm going to get some cheese to grate over the top to add some extra 'tang'!
And I'm doing something I haven't done for a long time - relaxing with a mug of white wine (I don't possess any wine glasses lol!) and I don't intend to go to bed sober tonight. I apologise here and now for any subsequent erratic posts I may make
So, there you have it all in a nut shell. Maybe in the future I'll be a little more creative but for now, hey!
