How far do you allow the Government tell you what to do? Do you allow Governemt to make those dicisions for you?

You'd have to be more specific.

I don't think I need to be more specific, but you can be if you like, and tells us under what conditions you would or wouldn't.

No, not under any circumstances, not even if they threatended me with my life...it would be really difficult if they threatened to kill a loved one unless I killed someone...that would be the hardest of circumstances to ever find oneself in I think. either lose your loved one or kill someone else...

Actually - I am more likely to kill my government if someone told me to!

If I agreed with the cause, then yes. But, that's a big qualification--there are few causes that justify killing.

I don't believe many would kill another "just because" their government told them to, however many do kill others because they allow themselves to be convinced that "the others" deserve to be killed. To put the situation in a more specific light, assume that someone (government agents, etc) asked you to kill O.J. Simpson Whether any individual would accept this assignment would depend on whether they felt that O.J. really deserved to die. Some might reason, "No, he's been acquitted in court, so it would be wrong for me to kill him", others might reason, "He was most likely guilty, and justice demands that he die as payment for murdering his wife." And there are numerous positions between these extremes, such as "I don't know if he is guilty or not, so can't judge whether he deserves to die." as well as many others. Even is someone feels that "the others" deserve to die, they may not personally want to be the instrument of vengance, preferring to leave that task for someone else.

No one in the government has the legal authority to tell me to kill some one. You might as well ask if I'd kill some one if some dip on the internet told me to.

well, i dont kill.... unless i have to... be scared..

no but seriously, i see no circumstances in which i think killing is ok... i would not even go to war.. maybe the only circumstances would be if i were sufficiently trained and there was some hitler-ish man running around and i was the one they asked to kill him, then maybe!

It's hard to imagine them doing that unless you are in the army or the secret services that's why I am not part of them. But if that did ever happen no, I wouldn't like to be burdened with such guilt.
