Sorry, but your question lacked essential facts necessary for me to determine my answer, including the identity of the target as well as the amount of compensation to be paid me for doing the dirty deed. Therefore, the answer is not determinable at this time.

And that the US give money for jobs of the Iraqi people and kick these american corparation out and give money to the people to rebuild not these carpetbaggers

did you know that the majority of the contracts to rebuild iraq and the workers are iraqis? and its the us that is paying for those projects. did you know that in many areas throughout iraq it was the us that gave them clean drinking water and electicity? they never had it before but they do now. we have made iraq better but you dont see it because the media doesnt want you to see it. they want you to think that we are all bad people and this war is unjustified. so who is indoctinated now frankie?

anyway yes there are some american contracters out there but that is either because the iraqis didnt know how to do the project, dont have the manpower, or are to afraid to go the area in which the project for that contract is.

I heard that that is one of the big problems there, that too many americans are making lot of money and the work is below standard and way more expensive than if the Iraqis did it themselves. Also I read that the last time the US bombed the shit out of them durring DS that they did the rebuilding very fast and cheaper and so that they are more experts at it than the americans who are taking a way jobs from these people.

I here that they don't really touch to Iraqi companies but that they bomb the american companies that hires Iraqis.

Frankie stop and think about this....considering that the warring factions think nothing of killing scores of civilians a week, to cherry pick the American/Iraqi companies makes little sense if you spend even 20 seconds thinking about it. As Humper pointed out, it is the American contractors doing the most dangerous work in areas Iraqi companies don't want to go, so obviously they would be more prone to attacks.

have to say I think that "Lesson to the son is all made up, not even real. I bet that this is just another indoctrinating tool, the analogys in this story are total Hoaky ,,,at best,, I can't beleive you fell for it it,, this smells like so much "prejudice filled balonie", it automacticly makes those on the other side against the US as guilty as charged, when such is just BS. Ask yourself this can the Government of the USA ever make mistakes? Or are they always the Good Guy.----

Yeah, that's what my jw says about ALL the jw stories be it abuse, sex abuse, childhood hell, jc's, etc... all made up. The thing is I know some military people and they do on occasion really talk like that and feel that way. Do you know any military people? have you ever talked one on one with some? Maybe you should go visit a VFW or go to a Memorial Day Parade and talk with some of them afterwards. You seem unable to comprehend that people do feel loyalty to their country, their fellow soldiers, warriors, airmen, etc... and are willing to fight for what they love and believe in. Jw's may have a difficult time with that because when others disagree or choose not to believe them they are ready to disgard them, wipe the dust from their shoes and feel superior. A military man I know was having a discussion with my jw, as my jw was being a typical jw to him that brave young man full of respect simply said, 'Sir, I disagree with you, you have the right to say those things and I will fight to the death so you may always have that right'. His hope is that other countries people will have that right too. That the school that girls are finally allowed to go to in Iraq that his fellow soldiers helped build and stock with books & need items, all from volunteers in the military and back home, these girls someday will also have the right to have a voice. You are completely ignorant of what our military does out in the field. You have no idea of the schools, orphanages, villages that now for the first time ever have water, etc... etc... that our men & women do after their normal working hours in Iraq and other places around the world. You are just plain ignorant as the mainstream media doesn't report that, death sells much better than improving lives.

Does the US make mistakes? They do as does every person, nation and leaders. I would still rather live here in the US than anywhere else in the world. If you don't feel that way why are you still here?

Are they always the good guy? Why don't you ask those who have benifited from the blood of our Marines, Air Force, Army, National Guard and Navy?

    Carla,

Your points are well taken and should be given serious consideration. Perhaps if we looked back to the times when Israel killed and conquered and ask ourselves, was that wrong? Does God disagree with killing and worse still will He punish such killers and exclude them from His Kingdom? And how did Cornelius get into the Faith while still being in the military service of Rome? If he was commanded to kill Christians that rebelled against Rome for example would he have refused?

Somewhere, somehow, something, is missed in this discussion. Who’s side is God on when it comes to such killing and why?

Romans 13: 1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

Governments are ordained by God. They are permitted to exist in order to maintain peace in the world until the Kingdom of God replaces them. We are here told to be in subjection to them. Cornelius was obligated to be in subjection to them. When such Governments step out of line other Governments are empowered to resist them and restore order once again. Killing is a part of this process and is not viewed as bad the way many do here.

Then again we have another view given by Paul which went like this: Col 1: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Christ is the head of such governments and they consist by him. The reasons for this is the same as the ones given above. Killing should it become necessary to prevent our being overrun by evil will not result in the loss of our salvation as some may think. Then we also have our Lord’s personal view which was: 36 He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. 37 It is written: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors’; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment. 38 The disciples said, "See, Lord, here are two swords." "That is enough," he replied." When these swords were used improperly our Lord resolved the problem but did not cast out the one that abused them. They would now be essential to the Faith which has an obligation to support such higher powers in this endeavor.

I've killed hundreds, some 250 in one night. I didn't do it because the Government told me to. I did it to protect some 50 U.S. Soldiers and about 100 Montanyard tribesmen who were holding off an attack of some 300 North Vietnamese. We used a Vulcan cannon, mounted in an AC 130 Gunship, and capable of firing up to 6000 rounds per minute. I wanted to protect those men. They were my comrades and the North Vietnamese were trying to kill them. It was my job and I did it gladly. I would do it again if called upon to do so. How much freedom do you think you would have if it were not for soldiers and airmen willing to fight and die for their country?

Would I kill an unarmed civilian such as occurred at Mylai at the order of Lt. Calley? Hell no! That would be an illegal order and I would refuse to carry it out. I refused several orders to fire on targets that I did not consider legitimate and never got into trouble for it.One of them turned out to be a U.S. soldier who had been cut off behind enemy lines. We were able to identify him and get a rescue chopper called in to pick him up.
