i need to stress my question again... its a big topic for me, sorry :/

Np, It's ok to ask questions.

"what does it mean, that studying with JWs and stuff can ghosts scare away?

That's what they want you to believe. Just because you study with JW's doesn't mean that the ghost have gone away. In fact, I think that sometimes JW's see spirits because spirits feed off strong emotions. JW's are scared nuts over the possible ghost (demon) sightings. My parents was ok and didn't see spirits at all until AFTER they started studying. Why did the "spirits" show up then? I think it was more because they started fearing things and spirits are attracted to very strong emotions.

is it god/angels who protect the jws?"

I think what "protects" people from sightings is mind of state. Atheists generally don't see ghosts...not because they "pray"...but because of the mind setting.

the story of freedom frog makes me wonder...
do you think that this could happen in a kingdom hall also? did anything supernatural happen in a kingdom hall at all? what does it mean if not?

I'm sure there has...but who's going to admit to saying their precious KH is pocessed with demons. Most likely the one/ones that have seen them in KH's are going to keep quiet about it or be be talked to by the elders with it.

if ghosts are spirits of dead humans i believe the kingdom halls where all haunted :) too many lifes thrown away in that halls lol.

    lmao

if they are fallen angels aka demons... why would they stay away from it? gods protection?

I don't believe they are "fallen angels".

I have a friend who is schizophrenic, as in on meds for it. He insists the voices in his head are demons. The voices tell him to do things, the kind of things that got him dfed years ago. The meds make the voices stop, yet he insists that theyre really demons. Despite overwhelming evidence that the spirit world probably cant be controlled with chemicals, he INSISTS that theyre demons. Why? He WANTS to believe, so he WILL believe.

My house is nearly 100 years old and it makes a pantload of noises at night, that and my cat jumping up and down off of things, including my bed. I also have had many many experiences since childhood with sleep paralysis, paranoia about demons, vivid dreams, and the like. In other words, ive seen many strange shapes, heard sounds, felt like i was being suffocated, held down, etc.

NOT GHOSTS. NOT SPIRITS. JUST MY DUMB IMAGINATION.

but i can only speak for myself, of course.

i lump this stuff together (probably unfairly) with UFO crap, face on mars, masonic conspiracy shit, hollow earth, mormonism, jwism, and anything else that gives people an exciting and somewhat delusional edge to their existence.

its more fun to believe in a "magical" world than a plain old rational world. trust me, i did it for years, i know what if feels like.

I used to believe in demons.

    I was terrified of them.

Sometimes I was a "good" JW. No demons.

Sometimes I was a "bad" JW. No demons.

Now I'm not sure what to believe, though I lean towards disbelief.

I sometimes talk to the demons, playfully.

They have yet to contact me or manifest themselves to me.

Can anyone explain all of this to me?

Why have I never had a "supernatural" experience?

When I was just a very young child, I was sitting on the bottom of the stairs in our hallway, chattering away seemingly by myself. My mother asked me who I was talking to and I told her the lady with the purple shawl. I told her how her hair was up in a bun and I went on to describe a few other things about my new friend.

According to my mother, it was the exact image of my deceased great-grandmother, Jennie, who always wore a purple shawl he last years of her life. She always wore her long hair up in a bun.

I had never actually seen her when she was still alive, because she had died when I was very young. I have seen a few other apparitions over the years, but not as clearly ( nor as verbally) as this experience was. I totally believe that something IS "out there", and that generally, we have nothing to fear from them.

I would LOVE to learn more about spirit guides and Guardian Angels. With all the times I have so close to being dead (even at birth)---and haven't---I KNOW there is something to be explored. I just don't know how to do it.

Some have said that maybe its my finger in the way of the lens, which its kind of hard to do, here is a picture of my camera, and no its not the strap I keep the strap around my neck the entire time because I was also taking digital & video inside the church.
