you know, witnesses are just not normal people.

Take for example...what can we do for fun? (not much)

well, the Avon Sisters and I were really pretty bad sometimes.

For fun, we would sneak out and sometimes go to PENTECOSTAL meetings.

Here is a shot of Sister Miss d'meanor teaching us the song "I'll Fly Away" and the arm gestures so we would be able to fit right in.

I mean, golly. No body in a million years would have pegged us for witnesses.

Hi Tula I love the way you incorporated me in your story. Very funny! Hi Gq. I got a good gospel tune for ya. It is done by Elvis presleys back up group. He does dont sing in this one. Listen to the amazing baratone voice of the late J.D sumner. There is no one on earth with a voice that low, with the exception of Ivan ribroff who is a Russian baratone ,although I'm not sure I have spelled his name correctly.

The above link is to "I'd Rather Have Jesus," sung by the Gaithers. It reminds me of my dear grandparents, and I am all teared up. The Gaithers sing many of the songs I heard as a child at my grandpa's church. They're hard to find these days. Appalachians' music selections were not altogether mainstream, e.g.:

I'll be a listenin' for my name, Born again, I've got a mansion, Where the soul never dies, etc.
