An 81 beige honda accord stick shift. Bought it in 87 and drove it until the rubberband broke.
I want that kind of gas mileage again!

I was 13 yrs old when I bought my grandfather's 1962 Chevy Biscayne for $150. Gramps was able to swing a financing package for $5 a month payments. It had a 3 speed manual transmission with the stick on the column. AKA "three on the tree".
It was the most butt ugly car I had ever seen. But I never had a single problem with it and it got around 24 MPG.
It looked worse then this one:
A 1975 Chevy Nova powder blue 2-dr hatchback. I named her Blossom, and she never gave me any serious trouble. I traded her in for a 1985 Nova that I named Gumby. I didn't like him.

A 1984 Renault Alliance. To my knowledge they don't sell Renault in the states anymore
No, there are no French-made cars in the US anymore.
Renault, Peugeot, Citreon, et al ... by US standards are crap .... as are Italian cars.
The Japanese have set the standards here in the US and even American automakers still fall far behind Honda and Toyota.
Rub a Dub
1963 Corvair Monza Convertible
'cept mine was yellow.
Loved that car.

1973 Mercury Capri, v6.
A 1972 Malibu that I bought new just after getting out of the Marine Corps.
Don't forget the little Renault Le Car (R-5) *heehee* I had a semi run me off the road once and I swore I would NEVER own another dinky car that know one can see. I ended up driving on the center island and passed the semi on his left. He was no doubt surprised.

My first car was a 1971 Mach I Mustang. It had a 302 engine. It was bright orange, with a black stripe and a stock hood. It also had mags.
My second car was a 73 Lincoln Continental with a 460 4 barrel and a C6 Tranny. It was a sports model, with red leather electric seats, and electric windows that rolled back sideways. That was an amazing car! I welded 22 gauge metal in the floorsas well
1977 Volkswagen Bug. Turquoise..I was 15 when I bought it and my mom lent me the money. I payed her back in monthly installments. Drove it back and forth to school...I loved my bug!!!!!
