I remember all those times in that LeBaron well, Beck.

I remember think how beautiful you were in the sun driving down Summit.

You're just as lovely today.

The poor convertible, however; it needs a new top (or repair the old) new floor, a frame section, fuel system revamp, starting system overhaul, and a major cleanup.

We'll get there tho.

It's worth it.

This was mine. My dad paid $75 for it and we painted it Midnight Blue. Not a bad car. My next was a 1960 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88. Hated it. Then I bought my 1967 Pontiac Firebird. Wish I still had it.

The memories these machines bring back. I can't imagine my teenage boys 30 years from now reminiscing about the soulless, jelly moulds their generation are driving about in now.

It was inexpensive to buy,

although it cost a good deal to maintain,

so I got rid of it,

My first car was a Ford Capri - 1.3L no less!!!!

It had flared wheel arches, Wolfrace alloy wheels, orange furry dash etc - you can tell I was living in Essex then! (Still am but my taste in cars has grown considerably).

Other cars I have had include: Peugeot 205, Ford Granada estate, Peugeot 405, Volvo 460gle, Ford Mondeo, Volkswagen Passat, Alfa Romeo 156, BMW 3 series, and now an Alfa Romeo 159. All the cars from the Peugoet 405 onwards were brand new.
