Siamsa, I am darth frosty, dark lord of the sith and all that, nice to meet you. As to whether this story is true or not I cannot confirm. Metatron, posted an intriguing scenario and I commented on it and possible ramifications of the portrait he painted that can be acted out in Congo's throughout the world. This is a discussion forum and that is what I am engaging in.
If you choose to suspect his version of things that is your prerogative. But to challenge everyone who chooses to discuss this point is a little overbearing on your part.
What did you think of my response? what did you think of M.J. assertion that 'I've also heard that the Churches of Christ were involved in a big defamation lawsuit over DF'ings, so they can't practice DF'ing in the way they had previously done.' ?!? This is a discussion forum not a kangaroo court. we are linked together by our association with a high control group(or cult if you prefer.) What we discuss here are shared experiences, new realities and the hope that one day this cult and all of its despicable practices will be exposed and done away with.

Yes, it really happened. The Ft Lauderdale east congregation. The DF announcement was made at the end of the service meeting on July 19, 1997. The DF'd daughters names was Doris B. Her, mother, Helen, loudly gasped and sobbed when she heard her daughters name. She sobbed audibly through the song and prayer. When the prayer concluded, she was swarmed with sympathy. In a moment of poor judgement, Doris had serviced the entire Ft. Lauderdale Central High School football team, including the coach and team mascot.
OK, Siasma. You can relax now

Could some one edit the previous post before JWD gets in trouble! Mainly rid it of the last sentence.

I am amazed at how 5go writes so lucidly at times.

Well all I can say is that in my old cong you could cry as much as you liked and no-one would give a damn. "The elders are probably right and we don't know all the facts" is typical of what they'd say. If it works elsewhere GREAT - but not even suicide could move the so and so's in my old cong.
