She rightly accused me of reading apostate material, and wished I would see the good in Jah's oranization & come back to the meetings.

Very interesting thoughts, and yes, it gives me the creeps.
I found the "'In the coming calandar year, it would be well for each one of us to take stock of himself to make sure that everypart of our armor is in place and fits well" quote particularly dis-arming (pun not directly intended.)
Ironically enough, though, we are talking about the fear-mongering among them, but the same thing has risen fear in US, being concerned about our loved ones still in.
Let's face it... it is difficult to live without fear, but I have been really working at it the past few years. Truth of the matter is we have NO idea how far the Borg will go... nor do we know how our loved ones will accept it.

Actually, according to the Bible, Jesus had nothing but scorn for the alleged "slave class" (religious leaders) of his day. The Society doesn't make the connection, of course, because it doesn't t serve their purpose.

If you all read my posts about the triangle you will see that the WTS is inserting subliminal suggestions by using visual cues into the WT magazines. I tell you that the triangle has been found in at least 3 WT publications. and the other in the Jan 15-08 kool-aid edition. It is a well known fact that sinning against the holy spirit is the JWs WORSE fear. IT IS A SUBLIMINAL TIME BOMB that will go off when the JWs read the Jan 15-08 WT. !!! The time bomb is set to go off in exactly 6 months counting from July 15-07

All I see in my day to day life on the inside is a really obivious cost cutting measure with the JW only WT. Though even I like calling it the Kool Aid version it still is ruffly the same stuff in a new package. I pretty much agree there is no way to get any one out. Let them fall enough, and they will come out on their own; and yes some will sadly get hurt, or die in the process.

I can see it in my sister. She is feeling extremely encouraged and special with the new members only WA coming out. She's feels more chosen and on the road to everlasting life. All of us out here can just sit around and wait to die. Its a really sick outlook she has, extremely scary. I have to be very careful what I say, while attempting to expose the WA as money hungry men battling for more power and money. The JWs have set up their kingdom on earth at bethel HQ, where they sit on millions of dollars deciding how and where to reap the rewards. And I will bet no JW knows anything about the massive court settlements the WA has paid out to hush up the cases and keep them out of the press.

And notice the not-so-subtle comparison of how the Israelites "obeyed Jehovah" with Dubs following the guidance through "the faithful and discreet slave". The two of course, are supposed to be inter-changable. Obedience to the F&DSC = Obedience to Jehovah. Disobeying the F&DS = Disobeying Jehovah. No wonder the senile old farts are practically worshipped as God----it's what they're starting to demand.
