Thanks all for the kind words. But how do we know that they dont have the truth. I keep asking myself will I be caught off guard at Armegeddon and be destroyed. Who really has the truth, its so ingrained in me that even though i dont like it I still wonder if Iam making a mistake
Just start reading all the threads on this board about the Watchtower's doctrines.
It will not take too long before you realise the JW's are being deceived.
The truth is in Jesus not some religion.
Read a real Bible instead of that blasphemous New World Translation and see what it says without the Watchtower Society's publications to guide your thinking and you will find the truth.
Just a little insight on how it really works in JW Land.
I was on the 'servant body' and got caught doing the 'dirty' with a married sister.
The other Ho's on the 'servant body' couldn't have one of their own being disfellowshiped for messing with another man's wife so they threatened the sister with DF'ng if she told anyone. She was 'privately' reproved for 'leading me on' and I was 'spiritually' revived by the other Ho's on the 'servant body' and that was the end of it.
If I had not been a well-liked and sought after brother the other Ho's on the 'servant body' would have DF'd me in a second.
I wish they had because I stayed in the cult another 15 years before I disassociated in 2004.

You are feeling "thrown away" as if you are trash of no importance. Then the Judicial Committee was successful, I see. That is just how they wanted you to feel. That you are less than dirt, a contaminant, and that they are clean and pure, and oh, so godly....
Or as one poster said:

And my experience of how my sixteen year old daughter was made to feel. They made her read a scripture from Rev. that said she was filth in God's eyes, and would burn in the fire with the devil and his angels. This because she did a couple of stupid teen things, but they were determined to make her admit to fornication, which she did not do. They called her a liar, even though they admitted there were no accusations, no witnesses, and no confession. They humiliated her, berated her, all because they were "spiritual bullies" instead of shepherds of the flock.

Disfellowshipping is so cruel because we are social beings. It hurts us to the very core of our being not to be acknowledged or touched. A famous horse trainer used the need to be accepted in the group as the key part of his training. His techniques are humane. What the society does is not.
Before I considered joining the Witnesses, I checked out their claims on my own. In my church we were encouraged to be Bereans, and to be sure of all things before we accepted them. I found plenty of things wrong with the Witness view. I suggest you use your "alone time" to do your own study, to be sure in your own mind what is true and what is not. Here are a few Witness doctrines I found to be on very shaky ground. All that needs to be done to show them wrong is to read the scriptures in context, not skipping all over the place, like a skipped rock across a pond.
- Matthew 24:45 - Is this a parable or a prophecy?
- The 144,000 as a separate "class". Read all the promises in the bible and tell me, in context, if those promises are intended to be for an exclusive few. http://www.clarion-call.org/extras/promise.htm

Now, the more delightful part of personal discovery, if the Witnesses are wrong? What is right? I started with the basics. Love is right. Kindness is right. And I moved on from there.

New Protocol- can just be out 6 months and back in. That was at the last KS school.
Now, that all depends on how badly they want you. They made my husband wait five years to be fully reinstated...and he wasn't even disfellowshipped. And don't forget the extra book studies just to be sure your thinking has been fully adjusted.
When you're on the outs, sometimes you will always be "out". There are a few zealous "brothers" and "sisters" that treat me and my husband like pariahs.

There will always be ones who don't treat you well in every congregation. Human nature.

This may sound strange, but I believe there are many being "called" out of that organization right now. I believe
it has failed miserably and "imperfect men" can no longer be a valid excuse. And because some good people
would never leave it otherwise, (because of the extreme mind controlling techniques employed by the WTS), disfellowshipping
may be the very "blessing" needed to get these right-hearted ones out of that now apostate organization of evil men, imo. I wouldn't
return to that vomit for anything or anyone!!
