you don't know if they will us it for food or clothing or if he is an alcoholic or a drug user and you are helping him to continue with his habits

Once the money leaves my hands I am no longer responsible for its use. Either way he chooses to use it is his decision and both choices are helping continue his bad habits. The food will help him live another day to spend someone else's money on drugs.

For all the talk among you JW's about saving lives I would think the use of blood to save a life would be righteous. But I guess life saving must also fall within your rules. I don't think God is as picky as the GB makes him out to be.

    Hey, aleman, got kids?

I would guard the IV holding blood for my child with my life.

Aleman.......you pay taxes, right? What do they do with that money? Give it to charity, buy guns, equip armies??? Who cares what they do with the rest of the blood.

    Aleman~

You still didn't answer my question I posted on page 1 of this thread. Would you kindly answer it for me? I would like to know what your viewpoint to my question is.

    Thanks!

    Aleman, you little rascal......

Consider this.............if the leaders of the JWs have not evolved (it is not a word they like to use in a positive sense) but rather have realised that their stand on blood is not necessary, false reasoning and basically flawed or maybe somebody of importance required treatment with a component of blood, then they could not just openly reverse their stand...........they could not say.........."we now accept blood transfusions"........why? Because many have died as a result of this teaching and it would open a whole boiling pot of trouble for the organisation in many ways, not least the fact that some would try to sue them for the loss of life of family members.

How much easier and less obvious would it be to alter and relax the doctrine on this matter and hope the change and basic turn around goes unnoticed by the already brain washed, paradise hungry followers.

About Aleman....I've given a lot of thought to this young man, I assume he's a younger man. He's got an awful lot of zeal for what he's trying to say/accomplish here. it reminds me of a certain dub that I used tto go to the door with in the field circus. he could talk and talk and talk, had his foot wedged in the door, ya know? So, anyways, we're at this door one day. Nice sunny day. He's talking to this gentleman, and he was a true gentleman. Next thing you know, the househoder decides he's heard enough. he had an issue about a sister of his that had been married to a jw, they had a child that needed blood. NO BLOOD was the battle cry from the believing mate. Child died, they divorced, end of family. The householder turned BRIGHT red in the face and told us to leave. Naaw, I don't think so. Dub I was with just kept on trying to talk to this man. i was waiting for the guy's fist to impact my buddie's face, I said," Dub, I think we might want to leave." The householder says, " Listen to your friend, and leave NOW". True story.

Aleman........You may have zeal, but don't waste it on us. These people here will dance all over your little head with facts you haven't been around long enough to read in a book yet.

In the military, they teach you all they can so that you can prepare for war, Kill or Be Killed. Within the ranks of the soilder, they have the freedom to learn new things and apply them to what they taught you. This is what I am doing here. I became 'unclean' to be able to talk to the 'unclean'

So now you're using the military as your guide instead of the Bible and the approved publication from the FDS ? My, my, Aleman who would have thought that it would come to this ? So many of your fellow brothers and sisters would be so shocked and disappointed that you have taken this course.

And you know what else ? After spending a number of years on JW forums I've become quite familiar with the whole "Theocratic Warfare" strategy which is nothing more than a hypocritical excuse to do what you want, completely ignoring the FDS counsel, while trying to justify your own actions. You gave into curiosity and now you have to excuse it.You say you're not counting time so don't you think you could find better ways to spend your time such as field service or personal study per the Society's instructions. But oh no... you're the self proclaimed modern Jehu with the gory WT condemned "Gladiator" movie avatar. His sword is raised to strike down all evil 'postates.Rarely have I seen such love ! So moving...

Did we scare him off? Or scare him because we were making sense? Is his world crumbling around him like ours did when we found the real truth about the truth? Now what should he do, with this new info? Hopefully see the light and leave.

Due to Bible-based beliefs, One should not eat blood or accept tranfusions of whole blood or its four major components namely, red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets (thrombocytes), and whole plasma. People Should be instructed to personally decide whether or not to accept fractions, and medical procedures that involve their own blood.

    You're equivocating.

The consumption of blood and the transfusion of blood are neither physically nor morally equivalent.
