The moderators should really move this thread to the blood board on the site

I wonder: now that JWs are into the fine art of picking out what exact fractions/components of blood should be allowed and not, and white blood cells are among those components not allowed - - - - will JWs ban the 'use' of breast milk any time soon?

If a doctor gave a JW the advice to let them give him/her white blood cells via a transfusion of only that component, an active JW could not accept it because it is among 'the four main components'.

However - mother's milk contains as much as between 500,000 - 5 million white blood cells per millilitre.

    Perhaps I'm just being stupid.

Yes, all us breatfeeders have been breaking the rules all along. Shame on us!! Feeding our kids food from God that God made in perfection. Did God make a mistake?

The biggest mistake in the WTS teaching on blood is the failure to understand that the word "blood" doesn't mean the same in Bible times and today. In the Bible it designated blood shed in death. The idea was that, as the soul of the slain animal was in the blood poured on the ground, that soul would not be asked back from the slaughterer. But the soul of a slain human would always be asked back.

Even if putting that mistake aside, it remains that if blood represents life, the symbol cannot be of greater value than what it represents.

Aleman, your active support of that WTS doctrine makes you an accomplice of murder.

Many felt the things you do at one time.

Please contact your nearest University, College, or Community College that has a nursing program. Please inquire about watching the teaching videos for intravenous administration. When you watch the video please pay close attention to what the instructor calls a "flash". Once you review the video and fully understand within the JW Blood doctrine and the consequences ask yourself why this has not been addressed as it is a clear violation of all current blood partaking beliefs. Know this too that the WTS is fully aware of the medical procedure but as failed to warn those who want to keep clean before Jehovah. The question then is WHY?

Aleman is no different than EXERY OTHER JW I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED.

They throw out some WT rhetoric, a few generic comments based on other WT rhetoric, and conveniently AVOID ALL QUESTIONS AND ARGUMENTS PLACED ON THEIR LAPS.

And then when a large enough amount of intelligent, impossible to refute information has been placed before them, THEY GET OUT OF DODGE.

This is what we call the JW three step out the door shuffle.

Is nothing new. Been done too many times to count before. And only verifies the simple truth that the WT Society Blood policy really is as bad as it gets.

If the JW's had the truth, defending these things should be a piece of cake.

But they can't defend these sorry policies, and they definitely don't have "the truth".

But life is full of disappointments.

Aleman is just simply in denial.

It's okay Aleman, many of us have been where you are.

Defending the WT Society is one impossible task.

    Excellent observations Vinny!

    you are bang on, correct.

The blood issue is one of several important reasons why I continue to work at pulling people out of the JW faith, and out of harms way.

Aleman, Do you agree: 1. That the views regarding blood fractions are newly updated and previously it was forbidden for JWs to accept blood fractions? If you do not agree with this then you are uninformed or dishonest. 2. That many JWs died because they could not accept blood fractions? I happen to know of someone personally to whom this applied. 3. Since this view was "ignorant' and "incorrect" - does this make the Society blood guilty? What responsibility do they bear for those who died for incorrect beliefs? Or do they get a free pass? 4. Did the Holy Spirit direct the Society to hold the prior view that blood fractions were forbidden an that anyone accepting a medical procedure involving blood fractions was to be disfellowshipped? If so was the Holy Spirit wrong or was the Society wrong? YOU DO NOT GET A FREE PASS ON THIS QUESTION. You have to accept responsibility for this and face it fairly and squarely like an adult and not try to slip away from it with contorted lies or evade it. Remember John 8:44. Tell the truth. Sincerely, Donkey
