OK, regarding obesity as a health problem, I was not able to reproduce your particular AOL results. But I found a few articles. Not the source data. Both articles stated that obesity has replaced famine as a health problem. Not mortality. That is, people are unlikely to die from hunger any more (unless through gross human negligence such as war), but that now food quality is a concern.

Stroke and heart disease continue to be the top killers. http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs310/en/index.html

It is astounding what people will believe without the slightest evidence.

Next you will have people believing in the loch ness monster or that the moon landings were faked. Where will it end?

    Magical thinking...sheesh!

I followed the trail, Gill. The sources don't claim that more people are dying from obesity. It is a rising health problem because of the associated health risks. I might point out that obesity used to be the wealthy nation's disease. Now middling nations are joining us. This may be an indication of greater prosperity.

I see also that you've decided to blame the WHO. Why?

I'll betcha anything that the results of these trials was that air dispersal is grossly inefficient.

In recent years, the MoD has commissioned two scientists to review the safety of these tests. Both reported that there was no risk to public health, although one suggested the elderly or people suffering from breathing illnesses may have been seriously harmed if they inhaled sufficient quantities of micro-organisms.

After air disperal, it is near impossible to inhale sufficient quantities of the microorganisms. The senior would have to take a lungful directly from the nozzle.

Newsflash: planes have been dropping chemicals for years in to the atmosphere for various reasons. Sometimes to help control weather, other times for the benefit of crops.

    What is the big deal?

It is all legal and above board. I see references in this thread to planes issuing chemtrails to help control the weather as if this is big frightening news. Ummm. Nope, it's regular activity.

Besides these non life threatinening "chemtrails" there are no other secret chemicals being dropped on the general population to hurt us. That is just plain silly.

If this was really real, all a savy reporter would need to do, is hire a plane to find and follow one of these many planes spewing these evil chemtrails and check out where he landed and go and ask the pilot - "hey dude what were you doin up there? Where did you take off from? What was the purpose of your flight? Can I see your registered flight plan? Would you mind if me and my news team here check out the inside of this plane?"

I love a good conspiracy theory, but this one blows (in my humble opinion).

My apologies to all the believers out there. My aim is not to hurt your feelings...my aim is to open your mind. After all, you know what they say... a mind is a terrible thing to waste.

SIRONA! - Thank you very much for the link to the Guardian article. I don't know why my links are so rubbish at the moment!!

But, I hope others who doubt what has been happening will go to this link and then post their view on it.

I don't want people to believe that I want them to be afraid but I want them to be aware. If we don't know what has happened in the past, unopposed, then we can't prevent continuation and even furthur abuses in the future!

Thanks again to Sirona for the LINK TO THE GUARDIAN ARTICLE!

Jgnat - Starvation is a problem which damages health and life and obesity is a problem that damaged health and life. We can't argue that obesity was reported to have increased and starvation had become a lesser problem at the time of those articles being written. But written they were.

Within months, everything had turned upside down. But those articles and that information and that state of affairs still existed.
