I have a friend from Pakistan and he says if you walk into a KFC over there it's noting like the grease bombs you get here. In Pakistan apparently you can get fried chicken done up with local spices and stuff, much more flavourful and better for you.
Now I want some....

My wife makes curry chicken. It's so hot and spicy it will melt your fork. I like fried chicken, but it's so bad for you. We make "fake" fried chicken in the oven sometimes.
I recently found some mini chipolte spice cubes and I used on some pork chops. It was the bomb! Hot too...I like hot. So you folks have given me the idea to used that spicy stuff on some chicken but I'll have to make two batches (one for me and one for the kids). lol
I prefer spicy cajun style fried chicken, like Popeyes or Bojangles.
I have even been known to eat a fried chicken sandwich with ketchup on it.
I also love vinegar and just about any pickled vegetable, but especially pickled corn.
I love my cornbread kentucky style, thin and greasy on the bottom, white meal of course, none of that yaller cake that some restaurants try to pass off as cornbread.
I love red beans and rice also.
and don't forget good coleslaw. coleslaw can make or break a meal for me.
