Did any of you Lucky Bastards get to see 'LOVE' while it was in Vegas? I did not, but a friend saw it twice, much to my envy. (I've got two small children, so I was unable to travel out there.)

LEAVING WT - My favorite Beatles albums are Abbey Road & the White Album. I could listen to both all day long ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

"Love" plays at the Mirage in Vegas. IT IS truly a life's experience. Even if you are not a Beatles fan, you will be impressed. Nothing like it anywhere.

I believe that Paul had "Scrambled Egg" chosen for the melody when he first came up with it.

When I hear someone say they really love Abbey Road, I know I'm speaking with a Beatles fan that truly "gets" it, in a similar way that I get it.
I'm quite fond of at least 50% of the White Album, including, particularly, Sexy Sadie, Rocky Raccoon, Happiness is a Warm Gun, Dear Prudence...aw, shucks, I like the whole thing!

Yes, I believe you are correct. He awoke with the music, but had to write lyrics.

BTW, Traveling Wilburys were freaking awesome .... I'm so glad they did that, especially when Roy and George were still around (well, for Vol. 1).
I love George's solo stuff.....Crackerbox Palace, great song and video!

And his Time Bandits song, my favorite Harrison song of all:

Flipper, you like the White Album, "The Beatles?" Do you know what you hear if you play "Revolution #9 backwards?

Indeed. As you listen to them, you can just tell they are having so much fun making music together.
