Sorry, john Doe but in a real world, that simply isn't the case. It's simplistic and not a "fact".

Feel free to dispute it. If you think I'm incorrect, explain why.

John Doe, I don't think I have the fortitude to explain to you why . Reasoning with you is out of the question this morning. I'm still tired from last night.

Plus, I'd rather waste my time in other ways.

I just think you've taken an unreasonable position and I think it's a waste of time. I'm sure this isn't the first time you've heard anything like this.

I totally agree with John Doe on this one.

More static. You aren't refuting what I said because you can't.

Just forgetting about the hostages after 24 hours is absurd. It's not a practical solution. And if it was, your bright idea would've been employed long ago. And cililization would've been forever changed. But in practical terms, it simply does not work. Why, you ask? If you can't figure it out you are purposely just trying to act ignorantly or you're just dumb. I think you are neither. You just like to take absurd positions and play.

It has been employed long ago. The Soviets went a step further and killed everyone on board. Guess what, it worked.

I don't advocate doing that, as we do need to protect the hostages as much as possible. However, taking out the pirates should be a given and will very effectively eliminate the market for hostages. You've yet to give any reason why this will not work other than saying it's absurd. If it's as absurd as you say, then you should easily be able to give a reason why it will not work. Don't bs about wasting time--that's all you do on this forum.

"Execute the pirates without caring about the saftety of the hostages" is what you said, I believe. Now you say "we do need to protect the hostages as much as possible". But if it is not accomplished within "24 hours", kill the pirates and if the hostages die, oh well. It seems you are vascillating here.

The purpose of negotiations (not limited to 24 hours as YOU say) is to save the hostages. That should be the priority here---saving the innocents. Doing as you say, which I call absurd, is to have no regard for innocent human life.
