I read your posts, and the posts of others, and posts at other sites - posts that are full of research material of the sort you will have to spend the whole night going thru and trying to remotely get a grip of.
LOL! So it's not just me :)
So I wonder - just how difficult do you - or others - feel that Christianity, Christian faith, "salvation" is meant to be?
You are asking the wrong people.
Matthew 19:14 (New International Version)
14 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
Mark 10:14-15 (New International Version)
14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."
Children do not have all night to read pages of research material. They just believe.
That is what salvation is about.
Mark 16:16 (New International Version)
16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Acts 8:12-13 (New International Version)
12 But when they believed Philip as he preached the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13 Simon himself believed and was baptized. And he followed Philip everywhere, astonished by the great signs and miracles he saw.
What to believe?
Acts 16:30-31 (New International Version)
30 He then brought them out and asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
31 They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household."
Romans 10:9 (New International Version)
9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Easy to understand for kids and big kids like me alike.
All the best, Stephen
