Actually he's trying to protect his son from a destructive cult, it's the loving thing to do.
I see ripping a baby away from it's mothers arms because you no longer love the religion you once did and have demonised it and her for still being one is loving? i'll have to remember that.
his actions are ones of revenge and vindictiveness and I hope any court sees through them.
Its times like this that this site really worries me because people would advocate actions you would all condemn in any other scenario. if witnesses your former religion weren't involved would any of you advocate ripping a child of that age away from it's mother?

Mothers have a inbuilt maternal bond to provide what a child need specifically as a baby. I would question the actual suitability of a man as a parent that would take such a young child from it's mother at an age when it needs a mother at all times and might get traumutised at her loss. It shows a lack of love to the child as well. And just allowing hatred to be the controlling influence in his life.

Prove it. Yes, many do. some do not. I took more care of my infant daughter than her mom. As did her previous hubbie w/ their son. Then she took off on our daughter when she was 3 1/2 and my stepson was 8. To Germany, from the USA. Sees those two kids about 1-2 weeks out of the year. So take your witness pseudo-science and examine it before you open your big mouth, OK? There are FAR more dads in my position than you'd ever know about.
That being said, if you can come to a workable compromise custodially, especially when the child is an infant, and the mom is a good parent other than the JW issues, do what EVER you can to work it out amicably. Make it as much about the kids as possible, no revenge, etc. And go to a counselor for you and to figure out how best to deal with this. Take your ex if she'll go.
Reniaa, JW mothers will allow their babies to go ill and even die over the blood issue. Where's the maternal bond there? Lost in mental unbalance and spiritual abuse.
