reniaa, you clearly have NO IDEA the meaning of the word 'hypocrite'. Westcoast - I sincerely hope you get custody, your child should not have to be subjected to Cult thinking - it amounts to child abuse. And the sooner our court system recognises that following 'the Watchtower' is a form of child abuse and therefore JWs are unsuitable as parents, the better.

Yes westcoast, I agree...like you said you were not looking to rip the baby away, but simply get custody. I am rooting for you here. The cult, as I can testify from my childhood, is a very unhappy and cruel childhood for kids (and I was not abused by my parents in any way).

as for those that had issues as kids, was the issue that the org had caused, or did you have unbalanced parents. i know many jws who grew up in the religion and they sure are more balanced than most i meet outside of it.

BTW, custody does NOT mean the mother never sees the child. It means the child lives with the father and the mother has visiting rights. If the mother gets custody, there is a very high probability he'll never see the child again. Do your homework... there are many stories on the Web of people who have disappeared with children in this cult.
