The witlesses are afraid of anyone that might give them an alternative viewpoint. And that includes Satan.
The wt has it's follower as helpless sheep w big red targets painted on them, inviting stan and the demons to take a bite. That fear certainly is not biblical. According to the nt, christians can basically make the demons do anything, including performing like circus elephants. Satan too, doesn't stand a chance against a christian. It's one reason that i went to pentacostal style churches, for a while.

What is the worst thing Satan could do to a JW?If you were LUCKY, then maybe some ectoplasmic sex dreams in the dark of the night?
It is a phobia cultivated by propaganda. All cults have such phobias - they are a means of control, a buzz word / catch all to explain problems, and a means of reinforcing doctrine.
if you knew a murdered was on the loose you would be aware and keep on guard, that's what jw do too, we dont fear satan and the demons as such, we keep on guard, on the look out. sadly many people underestimate the power of the devil and the demons.
AE I've been looking out for Satan and the Demunz for over 20 odd years and still haven't found them
I had a witness friend that always prayed to keep herself protected from the demons. My husbands mom is always talking about how the demons are out to get you and a person has to keep the light on at night to keep the demons away. haha.. I told her she is more afraid of demons then she is confident in her Gods protection.
AE: Really, why are you afraid of the Oujia board? I mean, why do you think it attracts daemons? is it because people think it attracts daemons that it actually do, or is there some mechanism involved in the process that satan likes?
Keep on guard is one thing AE- well said, you said that well as far as a prowler on the loose also. Fearing them is another story, as they have no power over those in Christ. One should be completely clear on what it is they are on guard against, rather than a blanket fear. It does seem alot of the WT lit excessivley speaks of demons I must say. Someone gave a count earier.
