Yes we do have Jahs protection but as i said in reply to IA we dont deliberately put ourselfs at risk, that would be showing a carefree attitude to Jahs protection. We wouldnt deliberately attend a ritual, we wouldnt get involved in black magic, we know that if we freely allow ourselfs to do this then we are opening ourselfs up to satan to attack or misguide us.

If however we were in a situation where we werent aware, I went into someones house on the ministry once, they had a dead body in the garden and i was aware, they were mentally unwell and had been dabbling in black magic and witch craft, anyway he was more scared of me and started to act oddly....cut a long story short I left after 10mins ish but the following day in the paper he was in there and he had killed someone, the body lay in the garden...yuk...

Jehovah protected me, i was totally unaware, this guy could easily have attacked me BUT i know without a doubt Jah sent angels to give me protection.

satanus..I have NO fear of satan...none atall....some jw do but read my replies ive clearly said that, I do not atall fear him and he knows that.

Excellent points Gary on the limited power of the Prince of the world who has no power over Christians. And Jesus words at matt 10:28 of "Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell (or as your translation says it, Gehenna)." should be good food for thought for JWs- doctrine and as far how we should view the devil.

Well, just keep it balanced and fear God alone and you will do well. Check all things and make sure the rules you are following are indeed from God and not from a man made organization. That is not always cut and dry but keep praying and searching the scriptures for truth and do not let your beliefs rest on what you are being taught alone.

AE, my WT CD is not loading for some reason. Can you please open yours and post a few WT articles on how the WT says about a Godly fear of "Jehovah"...for the benefit of others. I do not think you meant you do not fear God. Please post a WT article on a Godly fear of God.

Here we have before us a very interesting phenomena -

Many witnesses, like our friend AE, really truly believe that Satan can actually have limited physical influence upon their lives:

Prevent a demon-book from burning, levitate objects, produce ectoplasm, cause nightly sex dreams, cause one to go crazy, etc...they really, really believe this stuff. I actually used to have to give an hour public talk about this subject back in the day - it was literally spelled out in a society talk outline. I could see it just literally sent shivers of joy through all the little old ladies to hear of things so dangerous and naughty.

And yet, neither Jehovah nor Jesus can (or perhaps will) do anything of the sort - even if Jesus has been ruling in the heavens since 1914...!!!
