Dont thnk we should call someones experience lies, we need some balance on this.
Why do JWs fear Satan and demons so much?

Deputy,
No longer having any fear of demons was one of the great things about leaving the JWs, for me. A huge weight was lifted from my shoulders, when I realized that something as simple as my choice in reading material was NOT an invitation for demons to enter my home.
Looking back, of course, it seems unreal that ever believed such a ridiculous thing.
Outside of the JWs, I've never met anyone with a fear of the demons.

angel eyes, you have had such a fascinating life! I had no idea that all those crazy stories and experiences that I've heard over the years have all happened to YOU! That's amazing! You must be the most faithful JW on the planet for Satan to heap so much abuse at you! Being punched in the face, encounters with a murderer who had a dead body in the garden, etc, etc. Wow, just wow! I imagine you must have been pioneering for many, many years to have all these experiences!
Please let me know when you give your next thrilling experience at the District convention! I want to make sure to get a front row seat!

This story (or various other versions of it) has been around the JW community since the 1960s. One point of logic might be to ask why other witnesses (in similarly life-threatening situations) were not deemed worthy of such divine protection. There was a tragic story on the True Crime TV channel of a southern U.S. JW family of four who were having a picnic at a rest stop by the highway, and some criminals killed all four of them just to steal their van. The police think that the JWs probably tried to talk to the gang people and maybe even offered them some of their lunch.

Probably someone else here saw it and might even have a link. There is a hard cruel line of division between fantasy and cold reality.
