..... milk smiles..... they were so sweet!

I hear ya Dinah..... my son too would give somebody the 'eye' if disturbed during nursing (so of course hubby messed with him), my daughter could have cared less, she would unlatch and coo as if having a conversation and than relatch while she was spoken too...

My husband made an off hand remark after I gave birth to our son about how long I was planning on nursing and I asked him at 16 which he preferred the lad to be chasing after ...breast or bottle in regards to oral fixation!

Needless to say I do believe I will have a C or bigger daughter in law eventually!

"Were sisters allowed to nurse in the main auditorium in your halls?

I remember quite the ruckus over one sister who breastfed her toddler in the main hall. She just flopped that tit right out and Junior climbed right on...in front of Jehovah and everybody."

    Undercover, that made me laugh!

Just wanted to send my congrats to Burns on the up coming event!

I know this is going a little off subject here, but I had a great trick for getting solid food started. Every dinner I cooked I would save some and put everything in a blender with a little water and freeze it in ice cube trays. In other words, the meat, potatoes and vegs all together as long as they weren't too spicy.

Then I'd just micro a cube or two. Both my boys loved it and I rarely ever bought jarred baby food.
