The Atlantic: "But there are five important signs that point in the opposite direction, indicating that Shahzad may not be connected to these groups at all."

How does a naturalized citizen from Pakistan who has attended terrorist training camps walk right through airport security and onto a plane in the year 2010?

Here's some good fuel for the conspiracy enthusiasts among us:

He had actually already boarded a plane and it was taxiing on the runway. The air traffic control tower had to call the plane back to the terminal.
It's straight out of a movie.

Oh, I'll get you started: Isn't this a bit too convenient?

Simple: All of the "security measures" put into place since 9/11 are an empty facade.

I challenge anyone to point out any terrorist act that was prevented as a result of the security you see at an airport.

    Apparently with ease...

Attorney General Holder has announced that the suspect will likely be charged with terrorism, rather than simply throwing a hissy fit over his home go into foreclosure.

CNN anchor: "It can confirmed that his house has been foreclosed in recent years. I mean, one would have to imagine that brought a lot of pressure and a lot of heartache on that family."

At a press conference today, Attorney General Eric Holder said that Faisal Shahzad was questioned for a number of hours under the "public safety exception" before being Mirandized.

Is that code talk for sending in Jack Bauer?

You mean like the white men that committed what would today be defined as terrorist against Britain way back when, or the white men who would be terrorists back in the 1860's, or the ones in China or Russia or Africa, or the Irish ones on Europe?

Or do you just mean the ones you are talking about that happen to be Muslim?

I was not addressing terrorism commited in the 1860s. I am specifically addressing terrorism that the world has been subjected to since the rise of Islamo-fascist regimes. If you wish to go back into history and attempt to smear people then by all means go ahead, but you just prove my point all the more. Namely, that liberals are all too ready to blame someone else OTHER THAN the group(s) that are clearly responsible for terrosism in recent history.

Right, just the ones that prove your point. Nice job ignoring China, Russia, the IRA, Africa...all recent examples. I guess they don't prove your point.

Wait, smear people? Who was I smearing? I was just stating objective facts, like you said you were doing. If, however, that isn't your goal but merely a smokescreen....

And when did I say we shouldn't blame the people responsible? I never said that and suggesting I did is smearing me and you just wants the facts, according to you. I suppose you also could exclude the acts by the KKK and other various white power and Aryan groups, other like McVeigh as well, but I suppose that wouldn't prove your point either.

Since history clearly isn't your strong point...Islam regimes have been since about....oh...632 CE. ARe you talking about since then or when?
