You seem to be saying that Clarence Thomas should have been rejected as a Supreme Court Justice, based only on an unsubstantiated personal accusation by a political opponent.
Well Woods, how do you come to that conclusion from what I actually said?
Though what he was accused of seems rather minor, and if Hill felt that uncomfortable with it, she should have addressed it at the time.

Don't know. Not really concerned about it. So, here's some entertainment for you Sylvia.

Treasonous? Please explain.
As to the allegations at the time, we only have Anita Hill's word on the matter. And if she was so uncomfortable about it, why did she follow him when he moved to a different job?

Believe it or not....I had a good friend at the time who worked in Thomas' office. No one who worked with Thomas believed anything untoward had happened between him and Anita Hill.
The fact that she kept calling him and leaving messages, such as "congratulations on getting married," which had absolutely nothing to do with her job, discredited her with me. If he was such a pig, why was she calling him about personal matters after he had "harassed" her?
No, I've never believed Thomas sexually harassed Anita Hill.
Frankly, I've been very pleased with his performance on the bench, also. I think he was a good choice.
